Reception at the spa is the same: quick explanations, we had the impression to catch a train instead of being welcomed to a wellness spa (a smile with a sweet voice would be a plus for the 500€ we spent during 1day+1night, even during rush hours). "I had a good stay in this clean and comfortable hotel. The room and bathroom were spacious and comfy and the finishes were new. There were a few minor items that could be improved though. The balcony door didn’t lock which wasn’t an issue for me but might be for others. The drapes only had black outs and not a set of sheers. Again - no problem for me but could impact someone else. As with most hotels I found a lack of hooks for hanging things up annoying, particularly in the bathroom. For...

"Great service form this young couple. Fantastic breakfast and dinner on the outside courtyard. The studio with 2 rooms we reserved was ideal for 2 brothers. Very quiet at night and in the middle of the wine tours. Located between Strasbourg and Colmar, a en a few miles from these beautiful Alsacian villages. "

"Very nice hotel and spa, pleasant location for walking and exploring the villages in the area. Very good breakfast and restaurant for dinner, only thing missing is the option to have some lunch. I don’t speak French so at times it was a struggle but the staff are very helpful "

"The carpet leading to our room smelt of dogs, our room smelt of cigarette smoke. Breakfast time was chaotic, the staff were not in control. We needed to wait for food, crockery and utensils. We later found out they were trying to cater for a coach full of people, who were also taking lots of food for their journey. Terrible, disgusting very unpleasant. We have stayed at your hotels before with no problems. "

"We spent a week with 3 generations gathering from several locations in the world to celebrate Christmas. Will definitely return if possible!

"The Josephine room was amazing. We booked it for a week over Christmas with the goal of having a place where we could hunker down and cook a nice meal on the 24th and 25th. The place was perfect. It's a short walk into town and the Christmas market, or you can walk along the canal, or even head into the hills for a hike which we took advantage of on a couple occasions. It's also a quick walk to the train station which provides easy access to the wonders of Strasbourg. Laurent was friendly and welcoming and everything in the room is immaculate (and was decorated for the season, including a little Christmas tree!). The bed is comfortable and the appliances are recent and in good shape. And the house is beautiful! There is all kinds of wonderful art both from Saverne as well as other places throughout the beautiful old staircase to the room. And the doormat at the entrance seems to be custom made to match the tiles: the whole place is full of these little attentions to detail that make it particularly special. We absolutely loved our stay and I don't think it could have been any better. "
