"Enjoyed our family stay on “Hortensia Eiland”. Cottage was nicely appointed with everything needed to do small meals. Took full advantage of the farm fresh eggs, yogurt, jam and milk. We felt like we experienced the Holland countryside experience to its fullest!"

"After spending a week staying in cities, we were SO happy to take a breath and long walk in the countryside at this gorgeous farm. They have fully renovated, modern and impeccably clean suites inside its historic buildings. "Great stay and wonderful experience near Bodegraven. Hosts we’re kind and welcoming and quickly attended to our questions. Setting is ideal with great hiking and biking close by. Bodegraven has a train station making further travels quite easy. Apartment was 30 mins drive to Kuekenhof Gardens. Very quiet at night making sleeping a pleasure. Parking on site. Highly recommend, particularly for couples. Exceeded expectations"

"The people at the front desk were helpful and friendly; check-in was a breeze. I liked that the room I had was a studio apartment. However, the kitchen could be equipped with basic condiments like salt, pepper and cooking oil. All in all, it was a pleasant stay and I slept well. The hotel is a 35-40min walk from the train station, but you could take buses also."

"We stayed in the island lodge. The lodge itself is very nice, only downpoint of the actual lodge is lack of storage space in the kitchen. My biggest complaints about this place were 1. When making the booking it NEVER mentioned that the only way to access your lodge is via a small rowing boat. I kid you not. I was with a family of 5, and none of us had ever rowed a boat a day in our lives. Had i known this upfront i would never have booked this lodge. THIS ROOM IS NOT SUITABLE FOR ANYONE WITH...
