"I loved the remoteness of this wee cottage. If you’re looking for somewhere quiet, with lots of lovely walks, then this is ideal. The cottage is powered by a generator, which you can hear but soon get used to. Make sure you bring everything you need, it’s a fair trek to the nearest shop! My dog ran around the forest all day long and slept all night and I chilled out with a glass or two of wine. I hope to visit again in the not too distant future."

"From the monent we walked in to the cottage, we knew it was something special. Spotlessly clean, lovely decor and the facilities provided exceptional. The hamper for us and for our dog were a lovely touch. Chevonne and Duncan were great hosts, Chevonne's communication right from the start was great and it was no problem to her to change our dates when something came up for us. You truly have an amazing place. Would highly recommend Balnaha cottage and its surroundings. We will be back. X"
