"Traditional from the outside but modern inside. Also very close to the centre. Comfortable rooms and modern bathrooms. If I am being picky the pillows were not comfortable but otherwise perfect for our 2 night stay."

We also thoroughly enjoyed the buffet breakfast that had so many options. We got to the hotel later than expected and appreciated that there was no time limit to check in. "Check in was easy as completed on line. Our room (22) was like going back to the 80’s but was clean, fully functional and quite big. Brekkie offering was plentiful, selection of cereals, cold meats, cheeses, yoghurts, breads, preserves, dried and fresh fruit, tea, coffee, selection of doughnuts also the option of eggs and crispy bacon cooked to order. Weather permitting, you can take brekkie in a nice little courtyard. Hotel is 15 min walk to train station, journey to Cologne Central took 38 mins. Happy with choice, value, courtesy of staff and would stay again. "
