Modern Apartment in Reifferscheid with Garden

This lovely 2-bedroom apartment can accommodate 4 people. It has a sauna and a Turkish steambath. There is also a shared garden and a forest nearby.

This home is located between Schleiden and Blankenheim and is about 75 km away from Cologne and 55 km away from Aachen. There is a forest just 100m away and a lake 5km away. Hiking trails begin almost at the doorstep of the apartment. About 20km away is Euro Tecnica, with one of the largest digital model trains in Europe. The town centre is 5km away, but you can get restaurants closet at 500m and general supplies are available 2.5km away.

The home has a sauna and turkish steambath that has to be paid for. The garden and terrace are shared with other guests. Bicycles are available, but have to be paid for. A children's bed and high chair are also available on request.You can bring a maximum of 2 pets, at €5/pet/night.

The nearest airport is Cologne-Bonn Airport, 69km away. A bus station is 600m away and train station is 13km away.

Die Lage war in Ordnung. Auch die Wohnung hat uns gut gefallen. Leider war der Vermieter, der nicht der Eigentümer war, überhaupt nicht freundlich. Sehr knapp und sachlich. Kein Interesse an unserer Reise und den Erlebnissen während des Aufenthalts. Sie fing sofort an, über die Zahlung des fälligen Beitrags zu sprechen, weil... unsere Katzen. Wir hatten kein Geld dabei und durften es später nachholen, zusätzlich noch ein Touristenformular ausfüllen. Die Wohnung war sauber, hatte aber seit der letzten Übernachtung keinen Staubsauger mehr. Scham.

De locatie is echt prachtig. Het huis bestaat uit drie appartementen, het onze was gelegen op de eerste verdieping en het is geschikt voor vier personen. We zaten er met twee volwassenen en een hond. De trap was wel wat glad en steil voor onze hond (13), dus indien mogelijk is voor een minieme meerprijs het appartement op de begane grond in die omstandigheid de betere optie. De keuken is compleet, de douche ook en alles was uitstekend verzorgd en schoon. Echt klasse. Reifferscheid is een perfecte uitvalsbasis (met auto, dat wel) voor dagtripjes in de Eifel (0.5 tot 1 uur rijden) maar ook voor wandelingen. De beheerster was vriendelijk, behulpzaam en zeer redelijk. Enig puntje van aandacht was dat de kosten voor de hond extra waren (had ik even niet zo begrepen, ik dacht dat het erin zat). Niettegenstaande dat zou ik het iedereen van harte aanraden.

Rustikale gemütliche Wohnung
Wir haben uns im großen und ganzen sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Umgebung ist sehr schön und die Leute sind sehr nett. Trotz der Überschwemmung könnten wir mit kleinen Einschränkungen alle touristischen Ziele genießen. Die Wohnung war sehr gemütlich und die Vermieterin sehr freundlich. Allerdings gab es aber ein paar Minuspunkte von uns. Die Einrichtung ist alles andere als modern, die Schränke und Betten sind schon im rustikalen Stil gehalten und die Betten knarschen sehr laut. allerdings passt das rustikale einfach zur Umgebung. Der Schrank in dem die Gläser standen roch nicht sehr angenehm und der Esstisch hat geklebt. Ich denke das zur Zeit benutze Putzmittel greift den Tisch so an, dass die Schutzschicht darauf angegriffen wird. Natürlich findet man immer etwas was nicht passt, aber im großen und ganzen können wir die Wohnung weiterempfehlen.

De ligging van het appartement is uniek in de vestingmuur van een ruïne. Het appartement is zeer compleet ingericht. De omgeving is prachtig, we hebben er iedere dag mooie wandelingen met onze hond gemaakt. Je kunt gebruik maken van een wasmachine en droger. De eigenaresse is heel vriendelijk. Jammer dat we de laatste dag geen WiFi hadden, voor pubers is dat een eerste levensbehoefte. Onze hond sloeg wel vaak aan vanwege de vele geluiden toeristen die onder ons raam langs liepen om de ruïne te bezoeken, andere gasten op de trap. Maar dat is meer een punt voor ons om voor een volgende keer rekening mee te houden. Al met al een geweldig appartement op een schitterende plek!

Het huisje is prachtig gelegen in het historisch centrum van Reifferscheid. Het is zeer gezellig ingericht en alles is aanwezig voor een gezellig verblijf. De ontvangst was zeer aangenaam en een tof echtpaar. Ideale uitvalbasis voor natuurwandelingen en bezoek aan Bad Münstereifel en Blankenheim. Zeer mooie plaatsjes om te bezoeken. We komen volgend jaar zeker terug.

In juli zijn wij, twee personen, in genoemde accommodatie verbleven. De aankomst was prettig en goed bereikbaar, ook al gaf de navigatie aan dat het laatste stuk alleen per voet bereikbaar is. Dit gaat om slechts 100 meter. Het appartement is mooi, hoog gelegen naast een burcht dat goed overzicht geeft over het dal van het dorpje Reifferscheid. De accommodatie was netjes en verzorgd dat een huiselijke sfeer geeft. De omgeving is erg rustig, maar daar hadden wij de vakantie ook voor geboekt. Jammer was dat er in de omgeving weinig horeca geopend was. Er stond het een en ander in de verkoop en het enige restaurant op loopafstand had zomerreces. Om dingen te bereiken vanaf het appartement hebben wij wel dagelijks de auto gebruikt, aangezien alles verspreid in de omgeving ligt. Al met al hebben wij in de twee weken dat wij er verbleven genoeg dingen kunnen zien en doen, maar ook tot rust kunnen komen.
