St Helen Cabin at Christmastime
We had short stay mid-December. We were pleasantly surprised to see the cabin was decorated for Christmas, the host was quick to communicate and accommodate our change in length of of stay and everyone was happy with their rooms.

Christmas weekend trip
Alpine Haus is a beautiful cabin located within 10 min from downtown Helen. The cabin was clean, roomy and very cozy. We had everything we needed and more! Beautiful views and lots of outdoor seating. Everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom. We loved that a Christmas tree was already put up and all we had to do was put our gifts under the tree!! The only issue we had was the parking. It wasn’t big enough to accommodate our vehicles. That was the only complaint but the rest of our stay made up for it.

Perfect spot for our family. We enjoyed the back porch at night utilizing the hot tub and fire pit. The Mountain View’s were refreshing from the porch and the inside of the home. Located close to Helen, without being right in town which we preferred. Close to some amazing hiking trails.

The cabin was immaculate and clean. It is a few minutes from downtown Helen. If we didn't have small children and a our senior dogs, my wife and I would have probably walked to town. We will definitely go back!

Great Cabin for a quick or extended getaway!
This cabin has it all! My girlfriend and I were looking for a quick getaway to the mountains and this spacious cabin delivered and then some. We had such a good time that we are considering renting the place out for a week to bring out extended families. Plenty of space, perfectly decorated, the owner is super responsive, and the location is perfect. A+

Beautiful mountain home in a gated community. Plenty of space with decks that give you the opportunity to take in the views. Parking was the only negative as the driveway has a steep decline but was manageable. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would book again.

Awesome Stay!
We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home located in a gated community. It is equipped with everything you need for your stay. Marvin was so good to communicate with us to make sure we had everything we needed and that things were going well. We felt safe and even took walks in the evenings. Our highlight was seeing a bear the first day we were there.

I was impressed with check in and out gated security in the community. The house is very nice and accommodating. The road is very hilly and has a lot of blind drive, so be careful driving. Other than that, it was a pleasure to stay in the house.

Gorgeous Cabin!
We were very pleased with our stay! The Cabin was very clean and comfortable. It is very close to town which is nice. Restaurants, gas, etc is only about an 8 minute drive. Marvin was a great host and kept in contact with us throughout our trip. The driveway is a little tight and may be tougher for a larger vehicle to park in it but there is plenty room in front of the cabin to park your vehicle. I would certainly book it again and Thank You for the hospitality Marvin!

This was a great house to rent for our family of 7 while experiencing Helen. There was plenty of space for us to spread out and yet cozy enough for us to gather around for games and meals. The location was perfect! We enjoyed morning walks around the neighborhood. It was so close to Unicoi state Park where we enjoyed many outdoor activities. Restaurants and other activities in Helen were just minutes away. Check in and check out couldn't have been easier! So thankful we found this wonderful home to have our family vacation.

Fabulous Helen Retreat
My family ventured to Helen for a weekend getaway and ended up staying in this cozy, well stocked house. It had everything we could have wanted or needed and was exceptionally clean. The decorating style was on queue, making you feel like you had truly escaped the busy city life for a wilderness retreat, without sacrificing comfort. Definitely one of the best house rental experiences we've ever had. We will recommend this location to our family & friends. And shall return in the future. Thank you!!

Gorgeous Stay in Helen
Quick getaway with family and friends and it was A1. Looked just like the pictures. Very peaceful and very pretty and clean home. Plenty of room for Framily of 10 and we even brought our fur baby. The host, Marvin was an 11 out of 10 - the perfect host. We thought we had an issue with the air (user error), and the refrigerator took a minute to get cold and Marvin was quick to respond and promptly sent the handyman. I would definitely stay again and recommend. A+++.

Great house, driveway not for the faint of heart.
Very nice house, very cozy. Neighborhood was very nice, close to Helen. The resort in the neighborhood is a great spot for dinner. The driveway is pretty much impossible. I have a lifted f250 diesel that struggled with it. Unless you have a very short wheel base car like a fiat or smart car get ready to park on the street. Street parking was ok though so not a big deal at all.

Great Get-away!
Very impressed with the property and the Host! The property is wonderfully sited, with easy access to everything to enjoy in Helen, but with the security and serenity of being in a gated community, out of the high-traffic areas. The cabin has everything you could want, is well-designed and appointed very nicely, right down to binoculars so you can view wildlife in the adjacent wooded areas. Loved the hot tub. Kitchen very-well equipped, and we appreciated the outdoor grill being in great condition and clean! Beds were comfy, loved the snuggly throws on the couches, cabin is filled with welcoming personal touches, but not the klitchsy bear decor that is so prominent in mountain cabins. Had two dogs with us; they loved going out on the decks with us. Walking them as needed didn't pose any problems. Spacious, with lots of room for our family of seven. Host was great at communicating, very responsive but not the least bit obtrusive. We will be back!

I stayed for one night, and overall, the accommodation experience was quite good. However, I have a few minor comments: 1. The shower in the master bathroom not working. Even though we are notified on the day we arrive, ideally there should be a discount for this. 2. Since they claim the house can accommodate up to 10 people, the power of the water heater should be higher, so that the hot water supply doesn't fall short. 3. The issue with the back door: I believe we are not the first to encounter this problem, and on that day, there were many cars behind us trying to enter the community. Because of this, we were delayed by over an hour on Sunday, which was very unfortunate. This issue might need to be reported to the management company.

Unforgettable Stay in the Appalachian Mountains
We recently had the pleasure of staying at this Appalachian Mountain home and it was truly a wonderful experience. From the moment I booked my stay, the owner was incredibly thoughtful and communicative, making sure that I had all the information I needed for a smooth check-in process. Upon arrival, I was immediately struck by the cozy and inviting atmosphere of the home. The owner had clearly gone to great lengths to make sure that every detail was taken care of, from the special touches throughout the house to the various amenities provided for guests. One of the things I appreciated most about the Appalachian Mountain home was how comfortable the beds were. After a long day of exploring the surrounding area, it was such a relief to come back to a comfortable and restful sleeping environment. The house itself was incredibly spacious, with plenty of room for myself and my family and friends to spread out and relax. Whether we were lounging in the living room or cooking a meal in the well-equipped kitchen, or enjoying cocktails in the downstairs bar, we always felt right at home. I would highly recommend staying at this stunning Appalachian Mountain home. The owner's thoughtfulness and attention to detail, combined with the cozy and comfortable atmosphere of the house, made for an unforgettable experience. Whether you're looking to escape into nature or simply want a comfortable and relaxing place to stay, this home is the perfect choice. We will be back!

Brings the great outdoors indoors
Marvin was great to work with and quick to respond to our inquiries. This home is convenient to downtown Helen and many local trails. It is a comfortable place to return to after a day of wilderness wanderings. The two story window in the living room plus the glass doors and many other windows on the main level are impressive and brings the great outdoors indoors for your viewing pleasure. There are two generous decks on the backside of the house with a new grill. Mount Yonah is visible from the decks, dining room, reading nook and the master bedroom. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, glassware and cookware which we appreciated since we enjoy cooking most of our own meals. If you prefer, there are quite a few restaurants to choose from in Helen. The beds in the master bedroom and downstairs bedroom are comfortable. As there were only four in our party I cannot comment on the comfort of the other sleeping accommodations. With three levels to the home there is plenty of space for a larger group to spread out and be comfortable. The driveway may be problematic for a really low lying vehicle because of the high lip at the curb. Our Honda Van barely cleared it. But if you park on the street, the front door is very close (maybe 20 steps) so still an easy entry. For those who play pickleball, Innsbruck has four new looking courts. We recommend this home and enjoyed our stay very much.
