"I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed this hotel. Everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. Our room was very comfortable from the beds to the nice sofa. The bathroom was spotless and in excellent repair. The heated floors were a bonus! We both loved the breakfast, which had a wide assortment of many local products. It’s fun knowing we are supporting the local farmers. The location of this hotel was perfect, with quick access to everything we wanted to see and do. It was just maybe a 3-minute walk to the Baltic Sea. Walking to Stora Torget took under 10 minutes. I would highly recommend this hotel."

"Historic hotel with ancient church ruins as one wall of our room. Delicious breakfast buffet with local cheeses and honey. Near the center of the walled Old Town, convenient to restaurants, shops, grocery store, and cathedral. Staff were friendly, helpful, and considerate, and spoke excellent English."

"Nice hotel in this price category. Excellent front office, good breakfast, clean, straight forward rooms. The shower in a small elevated bathtub is not my favorite solution but again for what it is it definitely works. "

"The unit was very spacious. Good also to have use of a deck outside it. We would have liked to have a sponge to wipe sink and counter etc, and perhaps a tea towel. The luggage storage cupboard was great as our departure flight was early evening, long after checkout."

"We enjoyed our stay. The hotel is beautiful and convenient. We stayed in the 1-bed apartment for 4. It came with full size kitchen, huge bath, washer/dryer and a cute balcony. Friendly staff and yummy breakfast. The apartment is right next to a popular night club. We were there from Wed to Fri and they had events with loud music every night until 2am which could be a problem for someone who enjoy quiet night. "

"Staff will do everything to make sure your trip to Visby is a wonderful one. We had a personal emergency come up and the hotel owner sprung into action to make sure we could handle the situation as smoothly as possible from Sweden. Excellent breakfast included with gluten free options, room was lovely - old touches like stained glass and exposed brick wall but also modern, and the location was two turns away from the tourist hub, so it was quiet. The courtyard is lovely. Wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else on Gotland island. "
