"This hostel is very bad, no safety because everybody can come in the room, I didn’t get the key or keycard, have just 2 bathrooms and very small. And if you want to check-in after 9pm you have to pay 5€. "

"This place is perfect for a family or group holiday : big rooms, perfect wifi, price OK. Enough choices in the neighborhood for breakfast/dining. Close to public transport. I was travelling for business and therefore the hotel was not so suited for me. But I should have payed more attention when booking = my fault. Staff very friendly and helpful ! "

"The hostel location was really close to Buchenkamp U-Bahn station. ALDI supermarket was at the end of the road. The communication, via email and text messages, before arrival with the property manager was very good and the pre-arrival were instructions very clear (albeit some communication was in German). "The sharing room of this hotel is really nice. It's clean, spacious and comfortable. Maybe because I was almost alone in my room after a guy who comes from Norway left but overall it's nice. Especially, the restroom and the shower isn't separated."

"Rezeption nie besetzt. Checkin steht auf Webseite 17 Uhr, ich komme an. Der Rezeptionist kommt um 18 Uhr mit der Mitteilung dass checkin erst um 18 uhr ist. Dabei hing am Brett der Zettel ebenfalls mit 17 Uhr. Konnte ich eine Stunden warten. Dann war das eine WC von oben bis unten vollgebrochen oder fäkal verunreinigt für einen Tag. Wollte Bescheid geben, aber keiner da und an das Notfall telefon ging niemand. Dann der Hinweis bei ankunft dass sie eig voll wären, udn die Buchung über Expedia...

"The property is located on a side street, which is wonderful. It is quiet and sleeping works well. These are singke rooms but each floor has a shared bathroom, which I didn't realize. However, it is kept very well and clean. The house seems to be new. I felt safe as a woman, which is important to me."

"This place is in a very sketchy part of town, only a 10 minute walk from central station but you're better off going in any other direction. You'll see people selling stolen phones on the street outside. No one speaks English here, and hardly any German at that. Then there are signs for 'Wira Massage' on a floor above. No lockers and the showers are in the cellar (or dirty basement). The linen that they charge you 3€ extra didn't even fit on the bed and then there was a druggie in the room...

"all are normally except there is no lift (we were on the 4th floor) and the worst bit is every floor has a phone in the corridor, in the evening when people (in my case a drunk), forget their keys (not manned 24 hrs per day), he or she would ring the bell downstairs and all phones on all floor will ring, this waked me up at least over 3 occasions when sleep is the key factor of any hotel room choices."

"Insgesamt war unser Aufenthalt gut. Schön wäre es gewesen, wenn bei Ankunft zumindest 2 Kaffeekapseln im Zimmer gewesen wären. Die Rezeption bietet sie an, auch einzeln, was praktisch ist. Die Dusche war etwas unentschlossen, was die Temperatur angeht, das schien abhängig davon zu sein, wie viele Menschen gerade duschen/in der Zeit geduscht haben. In der Umgebung gibt es nicht allzu viel, allerdings ist die U-Bahn nicht weit."

"Loved it ! Would definitely use again, even though its a bit more expensive than some (read mixed reviews of other hotels in this area). Very near central station. Amazing art deco lobby (which is huge!) and dining area. Nice room, more spacious than in some hotels. "

"Fraser Suites is an absolutely amazing hotel to stay. The room was great and the staff were all very friendly and accommodating. Their hospitality and willingness to help guests was outstanding. Everything was within walking distance of the hotel. Breakfast was pretty good there as well. Mr. Say as the concierge really stood out to me. A mild-mannered gentleman with a brilliant smile and just a great personality. Fraser Suites Hamburg is by far one the best hotels I have had the pleasure of staying in Germany thus far. Highly recommend this facility to anyone. "
