The Goldener Falke was a great location. Traveled with a family of 3-the room was large, although floors sloped dramatically. We chalked that up to character. The beds were comfortable and clean. Checkin was at the adjoining restaurant. It was a little hard to find parking (didnt find the ramp that was recommended) and then drag luggage a few blocks along cobblestone streets. We visited during Christmas market time so the area was busy beautiful and fun!

If you visit Heidelberg, this is the place to stay. It almost feels like a bed and breakfast. The rooms are so cute and stocked with everything you need! Honestly out of all of the places we stayed in Germany… this was our favorite. They also serve a very nice breakfast in the morning for guests that is included. We would definitely come back and would highly recommend to anyone!

We stayed here for 2 nights on our Euros trip. Location wise excellent and walkable to all areas. The hotel staff very very friendly. It was extremely humid when we were there and no air con unfortunately so sleeping was difficult but we enjoyed it none the less

Arrived early and checked in easily, helped with luggage, brilliant position on the Marktplatz (short taxi ride from station), right in centre of all Heidelberg’s sights, restaurant good with breakfast included, and great assistance from staff esp when sorting bus to return to station when leaving.
