"This property was much bigger than I expected. It was basically an apartment in a building instead of just a hotel room. It had its own kitchen in a separate room, as well as a bathroom completely separate from the bedroom. All 3 locations had doors to close off from the other areas. The only negative about the property was that although it advertises being soundproof, it is very much not. The building is right on a main road with a train that would pass by about every 5 minutes. "We weren't there long enough to take advantage of some of the amenity 'extras' -- e.g., hot tub. But the room was fine, the view excellent, and the breakfast lovely. Our hostess was very gracious. Unfortunately, we arrived after dark, and the lack of lighting on the address made it a bit difficult to find the place. Lesson: Don't arrive after dark! "

"Took the top 2 story suite. It requires walking up 6 flights of stairs but once there its a fabulous suite loaded with thoughful extra like coffee, cream and toothbrushes! You have view of square below through (small) window and view of city on both ends of suite, one from a small balconey. Includes a full kitchen, large screen Tv in a combo living room/dining room. A very comfortable small condo, one could live here. What a find!! "

"Wonderful, quiet location in a charming neighborhood. 30 minutes by tram to the Altstadt. Short walk to a lovely beer garden and ferry to the Pillnitzer Castle. We also loved cycling along the Elbe. For some reason, the access code was sent through Expedia instead of Hotels.com, so you might need to call the hostess before arrival to meet you. She was very gracious and the breakfast was a delight. A wonderful place to experience Dresden in a peaceful, clean, and comfortable environment!"

"Small room without fridge or safe. Comfortable overall, in rural surroundings, very near to Schloss Königstein tourist attraction. Breakfast uninspiring and disappointing range. "
