"We weren't there long enough to take advantage of some of the amenity 'extras' -- e.g., hot tub. But the room was fine, the view excellent, and the breakfast lovely. Our hostess was very gracious. Unfortunately, we arrived after dark, and the lack of lighting on the address made it a bit difficult to find the place. Lesson: Don't arrive after dark! "

It had its own kitchen in a separate room, as well as a bathroom completely separate from the bedroom. All 3 locations had doors to close off from the other areas. "Took the top 2 story suite. It requires walking up 6 flights of stairs but once there its a fabulous suite loaded with thoughful extra like coffee, cream and toothbrushes! You have view of square below through (small) window and view of city on both ends of suite, one from a small balconey. Includes a full kitchen, large screen Tv in a combo living room/dining room. A very comfortable small condo, one could live here. What a find!! "

"Wonderful, quiet location in a charming neighborhood. 30 minutes by tram to the Altstadt. Short walk to a lovely beer garden and ferry to the Pillnitzer Castle. We also loved cycling along the Elbe. For some reason, the access code was sent through Expedia instead of Hotels.com, so you might need to call the hostess before arrival to meet you. She was very gracious and the breakfast was a delight. A wonderful place to experience Dresden in a peaceful, clean, and comfortable environment!"

"Wir waren mit 6Personen über Silvester in der Wachbergbaude. Es war urgemütlich, wie man es von einer Baude erwartet und das Personal sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Essen war lecker und die Preise angemessen. Die Zimmer haben was von DDR-Charme. Aber alles in allem war es ein perfekter Aufenthalt. Vielen Dank!"

"Der Empfang war sehr freundlich. Leider haben wir erst abends feststellen müssen, dass Abendessen nur auf vorherige Bestellung gemacht wird. Die Kellnerin spricht nur Tschechisch, hat sich aber per Handy Übersetzer viel Mühe gegeben. Alles in allem völlig in Ordnung für 1-2 Übernachtungen."

Dejligt med køleskab og alle køkken nødvendigheder. Stort badeværelse med jævnlig rengøring og med nødvendige brugsting. Fin terrasse med nye møbler. "Das Hotel ist am Rande der Altstadt gelegen. Fußläufig ist daher in Pirna alles gut erreichbar. Ein Tiefgaragenplatz kann separat gebucht werden. Wir würden dies empfehlen. Das Frühstück war gut. Toll gefallen hat uns, dass es während des Aufenthalts eine kostenlose Karte für den ÖPNV mit dazu gab. Daher haben wir das Auto stehen gelassen und sind mit Bus und Bahn zum Wandern gefahren. Insgesamt hat uns der Aufenthalt gut gefallen. Wir kommen gerne wieder in die Pension Donatus."
