"Property, staff and comnplimentary breakfast served every morning was excellent! Right next to the rink but the walk way between the two buildings was closed making it necessary to walk in the rain to get to the arena doors. Also, there is no complementary customer parking. You must pay to park in a City run underground parkade also a block away."

The "julefrokost"was plentiful with a wide array of traditional Norwegian Christmas dishes. Our only complaint is that the food was on the cold side for our tastes, even when we showed up at opening time. We used the exercise room, and also enjoyed the second-floor lounge. "

"Eilert Smith Hotel exceeded our expectations!!! This is a Luxury Boutique Hotel. They treat you like royalty right when you walk in the door. I would definitely stay there again in Stavanger. It was the best of all places we stayed in Norway. It didn’t have the most amenities or even the best views but it made up for it in service and quality of the room and everything in the room. Top class linens and towels, coffee, organic local tea, turn down service, heated towel hanger, heated toilet seat...
