We were captivated by the cabin’s charm and the secluded location. The spacious back deck offers breathtaking views of the trees stretching out across the landscape. The sleeping arrangements arguably might be more suited for three couples in the cabin, which was fine for us. The wood fireplace was the star of the weekend getaway with temperatures dipping well below 20, we stayed warm.
My family and I stayed here over Memorial Day weekend and DID NOT want to leave once Monday came! Beautiful cabin with breathe taking views! Our host Jennifer was incredible and great with communication♥️ Our dogs enjoyed their stay as well! You will not regret your stay here.
My sister and I stayed here with our kids and we couldn’t have loved it more. The views from table Spruce are breathtaking. The sunsets were heavenly. The cabin is comfy and roomy and has tons of natural light. The wrap around porch allows you to hang out outside all day. The hammock was so amazing for naps and reading. The property is large and private and quiet with tons of wildlife running through. This cabin is unforgettable!
I have stayed in a number of places in the white mountains and this cabin topped them all. The pictures do not do it Justice. The views are incredible, with over 3 acres, even though in the town, you do not see or hear your neighbors. It’s like a small compound with everything you need for a secluded, comfortable get away. Communication with property owner (Jen) was easy with prompt responses.
When we got into the cabin that's when the nightmare started. On their page at VRBO when booking the house it says it has a master bedroom. That was a lie. There is no master bedroom at this place. Meaning you don't have your privacy or privacy bathroom that comes with every master bedroom. They also claimed there was two queens in the master bedroom that doesn't exist. Turns out it just a queen bed. So they lied again. The problem is I had to tell half of my party to stay home because of these lies. They have a bunk room separate from cabin. Once you climb to the top of the steep stairs they have a lot of beds. Problem is there is no bathroom so who ever stays up there has to go all the way down the steep stairs at night walk to the cabin then use the bathroom there. There is nothing convenient about this place. They also are lying about having A/C. They have one small unit in the kitchen and no other units for the cabin. Which means the kitchens will stay cool while the whole rest of the cabin is bloody hot. When we arrived it was 85 degrees in the cabin. With all the windows open the house didn't cool down to 80 degrees tell 10:30pm. That's with the A/C unit on. This place does not have A/C. This place is also very tiny. Don't be fooled by the pictures there is no room for anything except outside. When I called owners about them falsely advertising the place they didn't want to do anything about it. Stay away. Run as fast as you can. Don't book this place.
We arrived shortly before the 4th of July to relax in the mountains. What a fantastic time to visit because the whole town was in celebration for Independence Day. The cabin is remote and secluded off the beaten path. We checked in during the evening and the mountain views off the patio were breathtaking. The outdoor space was just as described, so quiet and we enjoyed watching birds, deer and hearing the bees buzz. The wildflowers were also plentiful. When we checked in, the cabin was just as described and pictured in the photos, all the way to the place settings on the table. The property manager was very communicative and answered a few of my questions -- timely and without fail. The hiking is fantastic in the area and it was a perfect family trip. We truly enjoyed staying here.
This home is beautiful exactly as listed on VRBO. My son graduated HS and wanted to take his friends on a little getaway. There was a total of 10 in my group and the house and bunk house was perfect for everyone. This property will not disappoint. Jennifer the host made everything so easy and even allowed us to check out later than specified.
I hope to be back at this property one days
The property has a spectacular view! I really wasn’t expecting that. It was clean, smelled great, leaving instructions were simple. The queen bedroom is on the main floor, along with a twin room (and trundle). Upstairs, on the loft, open space is the king bed IT IS SO COMFORTABLE! There are two closets, with twin beds inside, behind the king bed. These are the three beds we occupied on our stay! We love the White Mountains and if the opportunity permits will return! Oh, the dirt road took me by surprise, but it was a fun little drive! We enjoyed returning to Navajo County, it’s beautiful. We live in Chadds Ford, PA now!
What a lovely experience. I love the way the you can hear the wind blowing outside and you always feel warm and cozy inside. It was beautifully decorated and very clean and spacous.
Check in was easy, communication with property manager was easy and fast response. we loved the patio. I think if the property manager can add a rest room to above garage bedroom that would be perfect since its separated from main building. overall we enjoyed it. check out was easy too except that was the first place we seen property manager asked to remove all bed sheets and towels and put them in Landry
