"This is the perfect location for a family weekend. We were able to relax on the two porches and the dock. Being able to throw in a line or take out a kayak was an added bonus. The upstairs porch is ideal for toddlers to play. We will be returning when the weather is warmer. "

The area was well positioned and very close to Waxhaw and surrounding areas. Definitely well described as a party house, a few blemishes that come with that title and are expected. The poker table was a big plus!"

"This older home is a combination experience. The bedrooms and bathrooms have been refurbished and are very nice. Comfortable beds and nice linens. The living spaces are "grandparent's lake house". We loved drinking our morning coffee watching the sun rise over the lake. It was too cool to use the screened porch but it is a great space. Very clean. Kitchen has good selection of dishes and utensils."

"We just spent two wonderful weeks in Wendi’s cozy cottage. Like other guests, we found the home warm & inviting. The cupboards were fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. Waxhaw is a quaint little town. We were near our family who lives in Waxhaw so that was an added plus. The master bed was very comfortable. We did have an issue with the bed however and Wendi had the problem taken care of immediately..which was much appreciated. The porch was the perfect spot for morning coffee...
