"A great welcome, very friendly, lovely, comfy, spacious room. Mouth watering meals and great choice of drinks. Although we had a lovely Valentine meal, we were in the public bar, next to the bar which was a bit noisy, table in the restaurant would have been preferred for a bit more privacy. "We had a very warm welcome from excellent hosts. The Great House was beautifully presented and a house with fascinating history. We totally relaxed with a hot tub and freshly baked picnic whilst we were there. The walking in the area is beautiful and I recommend a visit here. "

"I absolutly love the lodges. This was our 2nd year of staying at the Mole. My daughter particularly loves the hot tub. There is plenty of space to walk our dog too and an enclosed area where she can go off lead. Although this year there were a few disappointments. We were not left a doggie goodie bag, even though we had paid for our dog to stay. There were no robes in our lodge which are particularly useful when getting out the hot tub, so we struggled with drying towels for showers and hot tub...

"Hotel was lovely, old in style by very grand. Lovely warm rooms, shower over bath but was excellent. Room had empty cupboard for a fridge but non provided. No plug sockets next to bed for phones. Spacious and free car park. Great location. Very grand high end dining room, excellent staff. Would highly recommend. "

Lovely friendly hotel

"This is our 3rd stay. The rooms have been upgraded and we had a nice view. We are always made to feel welcome by the wonderful friendly people on reception. We arrived early but were able to leave our bags in reception. Parking is payable and you need to arrive early. However, we know the area well and thete is free on-steet parking nearby if you know where to look."
