"This was a very cozy space from the intricate ceiling beams to the throw blankets and floor lamps. We appreciated all of the thoughtful little touches like the stocked kitchenette, complimentary toiletries, and bug/bear spray available for guests to use. Healy itself is cute and a gorgeous drive away from Denali NP. The Tomkha soup at the Asian To Go restaurant was the best and I've tried many Thai restaurants. Our only critique is that the thermostat was broken so the heat ran regardless of our desired temperature. This was mainly an issue at night because having the blinds closed limited the amount of airflow possible through open windows, making it uncomfortably dry and warm for sleeping. Would highly recommend this place to anyone conditional the thermostat issue is resolved."

"Overall a great experience. The room was comfortable and the breakfast bowls were great for taking on the drive to Denali so we could hike as much as possible. The beds were comfy and everything was clean and well maintained. The only downside was the deck is VERY slick when frosted and I fell hard departing on the final morning of our stay. A sign or warning its that slick would be helpful."

"Beautiful scenery...postcard views! Never saw staff onsite but place was clean. There was a mention of raisin bread in our fridge, but we didn't have. "

"Besides the brethtaking view, this house is conveniently located just 17 min from denali np. The kitchen was more equipped than I expected, and the living room and beds were incredibly comfortable. Check-in was a breeze and communication with the host was great. Definitely planning to stay here again."

"Was a nice stay at a clean and warm place while outside was snowing and single digit temperatures. Stove and coffee maker were great to have access to over staying in a hotel."

"Where do I begin? First of all, the cabin is exactly as described. It is clean and fully stocked with every item we could have thought to ask for, plus more that we never would have remembered to request, but were thrilled to have access to! Every item in the home seemed to be of the absolute highest quality, helping us to feel like we were vacationing luxuriously at an affordable and competitive rate! Literally, from 5 minutes after I booked until our last moments at the property, David and Shannon went above and beyond anything I have ever encountered before. From personalized recommendations specific to my aging mother's needs, to checking in on us as though we were old friends and a pure kindness that I haven't seen in any other rental...it all blew us away! During our stay, we spent one night away to check out the Chena Hot Springs and we both said that it felt like we were returning "home" when we got back. My mom has Dementia, so having a peaceful, clean home was paramount for her to enjoy our Alaskan adventure! And don't even get me started on the views!!! WOW!! We saw the magical Northern Lights and had a few inches of snow bid us fairwell. The location was fantastic! It took us between 10 and 15 minutes to get to Denali National Park and there was a year-round grocery store within 5 minutes. I honestly cannot recommend this home enough and I am already planning to bring my husband and son back with me to stay here. Thank you, David and Shannon for EVERYTHING!"

"Beautiful spot. Rustic of course. The road in is quite difficult. You need both the 4wd (which I had) and some offroading skills (which maybe I had less of). But Dave got us through it; picked us up inhis ATV and got our car out. If you do decide to try it yourself you need to commit to it. I got stuck because I was timid. Ideally get there before dark."
