You need a car (as stated in the listing)though we walked to Le Coupole and had a walk to the lovely supermarket at Helfaut and visited the wargraves in the churchyard. "Great communication from Julie from the very beginning of the booking process. The house is located on a canal with endless walking and running routes. Great local brasseries for dinner, Louvre Lens is 30 min away. Charlie our dog had an amazing time and is currently fast asleep and shattered. Can definitely recommend if you are looking for a location less than a hour from Calais"
