"I went to Swan House with my wife and 2 teenage girls (daughter and her friend) I was genuinely surprised by how well equipped the cottage was, with fans, heaters and a first-class boiler which pumped the heat out when required. The beds were comfortable and warm, the kitchen fully equipped with oven and hob, and a full range of pots, pans, plates and dishes. "Such an amazing stay at Fell View. We loved the cottage and it's location was perfect for us, walks from the door and an easy walk into Keswick. The boot room was a god send for our boots and coats, and the rest of the cottage was so cosy, beds extremely comfortable, shower was lovely. Off road parking was great too. Wish we could have spent longer there and we will definitely be back."

It suffered from overheating due to VERY hot summer days and inadequate insulation (may be a problem in winter) and was difficult to ventilate (needs opening windows to rear and some fans). Location is good for getting to shops etc but being in the back yard of a pub is a bit noisy (brewery vans at 8am, drunks at 1130pm). The garage MUST be used to avoid blocking the yard but its door is rather a squeeze for a large-ish family car (Mazda CX5). Leather sofas not ideal, and...
