Amazing Stay, Beautiful Cabin and Views!
This place is a must for anyone looking for a peaceful, quiet vacation. The home itself is beautiful and very well kept - love the high ceilings and the tasteful decor. Plenty of amenities provided, comfortable beds, and a beautiful view of Stone Mt. The owner was great - very communicative, provided me with lots of information on things to do and see, and checked in with us to be sure we were doing well. Highly recommend!!!!

Stone Mountain Tranquility
Annual get together with my brother and wife. House was very nice inside and outside. Fireplace area outside is great place to unwind and just look at the stars. House is close to the Stone mountain state park. Blue ridge parkway is nearby also. We all had a terrific time.

Fantastic cabin
The cabin was exactly what we hoped for… quiet, secluded, and very well appointed. Definitely plan in advance with groceries, because it’s a ways from the nearest anything. But we were happy to trade that for the views. The property manager was very nice and fast to return a text. Definitely recommend this property!!

Great mountain getaway!
My wife, daughter (18 months), and in-laws took a 3 day trip to Stone Mountain and stayed at this property. It is a beautiful home with a cabin feel and an amazing view off the back porch. It is a bit of a drive up the mountain, but so is every property with a good view. The owner (Phil) was very gracious before and during our visit recommending best hikes, vineyards, and restaurants. If we take another trip to Stone Mountain, we will definitely stay here again!

Wow, what an incredible place; the pictures don’t do it justice. The cabin was spotless and all of the appliances, kitchen utensils, bath supplies, etc were new. Appreciated the new washer/dryer as we had laundry. Nothing in the home needed fixing which helped us enjoy our stay even more. The view is breathtaking!

Just what we needed!
Great hosts - Terry checked in on us before our arrival and was attentive during the stay. He coached me on the the phone to relighting the pilot light on the gas fireplace which was our only issue.Very clean; very well supplied; lots of thoughtful little touches. Appreciated the large supply of towels for example.Loved the neighborhood, loved the privacy, loved the central heat, loved the view of Stone Mountain across the valley, loved the large primary bed and bath, loved the kitchen.We'll be back.

The cabin could not be more lovely! The view is amazing as well. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware etc. The cabin was nice and clean when we arrived. It is a bit of a challenge to get to, the road up, while in very good condition, does twist and turn and parts are not paved. The nearest store is 30-40 minutes away, so plan accordingly. We lost power due to a windstorm, alas there were no flashlights or candles so it ended up an early night. Terry was a great communicator and did all he could to make our stay pleasant.

Beautiful Cabin
We had a wonderful weekend at the cabin. It was as clean as any we have stayed in. Great views from the deck and fire pit. Excellent communication with owners that made our arrival and stay seamless.

House on the Mountain
The house was beautiful. The view of Stone Mountain was amazing! The drive past the gate, to the cabin was not my favorite part. Thank God we met no other vehicles on the ride up or down. Other than that we had fun, the house was pretty close to the things we wanted to see and do.

Absolutely perfect
Everything is perfect here. My wife, our two dogs, and I had such a wonderful time disconnecting from our normal life and enjoying the mountains. The house and property are so gorgeous and we spent a lot of time on the large deck just watching the mountains. We brought in lots of groceries with us to cook and the house had everything else we needed. The house is very spacious and allowed for one of us to read on one side of the house while the other watched tv when we felt like doing different things. The ping pong and pool table in the basement was a wonderful asset to have to spend time together. There is lots of hiking nearby that we enjoyed thoroughly. I just wish we had more time to enjoy it all or maybe just never had to leave :) Lastly, we got recommendations from the property manager and he was super helpful and made us feel very welcome.

Wonderful cabin with a gorgeous view!
My family and I had an amazing time here!!! The cabin has high ceilings and a great layout with lots of room to gather for puzzles and games, while also being able to spread out for rest and solitude. We found the master and queen beds very comfortable and appreciate the good quality pillows and linens being supplied. Also enjoyed the large bathrooms with tons of clean fluffy towels. Loved the picture perfect view from kitchen, living room and master - mesmerizing!!! Also although this cabin is remote, the Wi-Fi connection works great, so I was still able to get some work done efficiently as needed. Really appreciate the dish and hand soap, laundry detergent, paper towels and toilet paper supplies. Thank you! We and our kids so enjoyed the fire pit, ping pong and pool table in the basement - especially with the garage doors open to view, but screened. Also we were thrilled with the nearby Stone Mountain Park trails and widow falls area - perfect these were so close and beautiful!!! The falls are really close to parking with upper and lower falls, one high but simply stunning, and the other falls a true rock slide, both shaded with pools to cool off in. Our kids had a blast! Some minor issues were bugs, mostly in the basement level game room, these died quickly, so you can tell they treat the cabin. Honestly, it is just a part of being in the heart of nature, and having the two garage doors open for breeze and view (again screened, but nature finds a way.) Thankful for the hand vacuums suppled to take care of this easily. Please don’t let this stop you. I definitely plan to come again! We did have a small miscommunication, which was cabin cleaning hadn’t happened by our arrival, I only mention to be honest. But this was resolved super fast and throughly. Honestly, the owner, manager and cleaners were so incredibly responsive and accommodating about it that I felt more then cared for, and deeply grateful for their response! I am so thankful we found this lovely, peaceful cabin, only 2 hours from Charlotte. My family is already talking about coming back this fall or next summer!

Sta was great except.
My only issue was the firewood. I asked before my stay if there was firewood on the property. I was told there was not but people usually pick up branches from the surrounding woods. So because of this I packed firewood. Only to find out when I arrived that there was more than enough on property.

Perfect mountain retreat!
We were absolutely thrilled, the moment we walked in the door! To begin our wonderful weekend, we were greeted with the most beautiful rainbow we had ever seen! The house is very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We will definitely be back!
