Pet Friendly and Close to Silverwood

If privacy, peace, and relaxation are what you are looking for, then look no further than Channa Acres! This 600 square-foot guest house is an apartment located within a large pole building on the back of our property.

It's not the Ritz, but this “cabin-themed” guest house is very clean and private! There is a queen bed, a full size futon, an inflatable full size mattress, and a Graco crib upon request. Extra sheets and blankets are provided. Possibly best suited to families due to the curtain-only bedroom and only one proper bed.

A hairdryer, iron/ ironing board are provided. There is a shower, no bathtub. Shampoo and conditioner, as well as various other bathroom sundries are included under the sink.

There is an apartment-sized washer and dryer with some laundry pods and dryer sheets, a microwave and toaster, a fully-stocked kitchen including dishes, pots/pans, and a stove/oven. Spices, oils, salt and pepper, etc. are in the cupboard for you. There is a regular coffee pot and Keurig with a varietly of drink pods included!

Firewood, kindling, and roasting sticks included also! Bring your smores' and enjoy a "glamping" experience!

Pets are welcome at no charge. They must be house-broken and well-behaved. We have two dogs of our own, Rosie and Olive. We do not have a fenced yard, so bring your own crate or kennel if you wish.

We are 8 miles from Silverwood down a pretty side road, and we are centrally located between many lakes including Lake Pend Oreille, Coeur d’ Alene Lake, and Hayden Lake.

There is a covered parking garage area for your car. Sometimes our boats are being stored on the other half of the garage.

You may self-check in any time after 3 PM with keypad entry to the guest house. We respect your privacy, so you may never see us. You will drive by our main house to get to the guest house, but you will not bother us at all. Please don't worry about coming and going any time of day or night as you please. We are a pretty chill couple of empty-nesters, so nothing much bothers us. All we ask is that you leave the place tidy, although we do not ask you do any laundry or any house cleaning! Enjoy your vacation!

Peaceful getaway, Perfect for 2 with Pets
Quiet getaway in the woods. Yet really not far away from town. Great for our 2 dogs. Was a perfect set up for a couple. Loved the firepit and cornhole game. Trails in the woods made for a fun walk as well. Super clean, had everything we needed. Fresh eggs and home made blueberry bread was an unexpected treat. Definitely recommend.

Was a nice peaceful location. Was only there for one day but would love to come back during better weather to explore the trails and enjoy more of the outdoor beauty the location had to offer. They host made it every easy to get a hold of them if we needed and provided some nice arrival gifts. The house itself was very clean and easy to find what we needed.

Clean, cozy, peaceful and well stocked! We really loved the property. We had 2 adults, a 17 year old and a 10 year old. The home had everything we needed to enjoy our trip to silverwood. Upon arrival, instructions and check in were nice and easy which was helpful after driving from Oregon to Yellowstone to Idaho. Chad and Anna even left us some fresh eggs in the fridge so breakfast was covered! Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Cozy quiet place
This was our first experience with an airb&b. We were amazed with the warm welcome and ease to book. This little gem was nestled away back in the woods with everything we needed. After a long day at the local park it was a treat to be able to come relax around the firepit and reflect on the days activities. Cool water and a mound of fresh eggs awaited. Wonderful place to stay! I loved the area, it was a bit of a drive from Coeur d'Alene itself but we were visiting Silverwood and it couldn't have been easier to get to the park! The owners have some animals and the property is wondful! My only issue was the garage door which was kind of the main door had a nice, keyless entry lock on it but the other door which went out to the back patio and fire pit area didn’t have a lock at all which I felt was quite odd. Granted you're in the woods in northern Idaho, I think a moose would be a greater danger than a sketchy person, but still, that park did make me a touch nervous. Call me crazy.

My daughter and her family live in CDA since I rented the place so I could spend time with them. I have three dogs, which was fine with the owners. I think the dogs had the best time because they were able to run and explore the woods . There wasn't fencing but my dogs are used to that. My granddaughter and I had a little fire and then watched movies inside. The place was small but I still had my family over for breakfast and an Easter egg hunt. I think we found them all! The place was wonderful and the owners weren't a bother at all. They left farm fresh eggs and a loaf of zucchini bread! Great time. I will beback if I need to stay for more than a day
