Hank’s Hideaway is a hidden gem located in the beautiful gated resort community of Holly Lake Ranch deep in the piney woods of East Texas. This lovely 2 bedroom, 2 bath rustic cabin sits nestled among the tall pine trees and is fully equipped with all your creature comforts for a relaxing stress-free getaway. Plus, guests have full access to all of the numerous amenities in this lake vacation resort. Whether you are looking to sit back, relax, decompress and watch the wildlife or get out to enjoy all of the community activities, you’ve found the perfect spot.

This home boasts a wood-burning fireplace perfect for cozy evenings indoors, and also has a screened-in back patio with a gas fire pit table to enjoy while sipping on a cup of coffee or your favorite glass of wine and watching the birds, deer and other wildlife that roam freely.

The open concept kitchen/dining/living area is great for preparing meals and visiting with your guests. The fully appointed kitchen includes a full-size refrigerator, electric range, microwave, and dishwasher as well as plenty of dishes, pans, and cooking utensils. The coffee station includes a drip coffee maker as well as a Keurig machine plus enough k-cups, sweeteners & creamers to get your vacation off to the right start.

Both bedrooms have their own full en-suite bathrooms perfect for privacy and comfort and are supplied with all the necessary bed linens and towels for the convenience of a restful getaway. The master bedroom includes a comfy queen size bed, tons of pillows, large screen TV and plenty of room to relax. The secondary bedroom has a queen size bed & a twin bed plus a large screen TV. Both bathrooms have your basic toiletries in case you leave yours behind. We also have a full-size sofa bed in the living room for additional sleeping space.

Other perks within the home include a full-sized washer & dryer in the laundry room, 3 large screen TV’s with Firestick apps, free high speed wifi, outdoor seating on both porches, a small outdoor gas grill, cozy reading nook, plus an array of books, puzzles and family games. Guests have access to the home with a secure smart-lock keyless entry system.

Holly Lake Ranch is a private gated community featuring 24-hour manned security and numerous RESORT AMENITIES including:
- 18-hole PGA golf course
- 2 swimming pools along with a hot tub
- Activity Center with tons of family fun including ping pong, shuffleboard, video games, air hockey, putt putt golf, and scheduled daily events & entertainment

As of April 1, 2022 Holly Lake Ranch has implemented a fee for guests who bring a motorized watercraft to use on HLR private lakes. The guest use fee is $50 and valid for 3 consecutive days.

Fantastic Place to Stay at Holly Lake Ranch!!
The property was extremely well kept and had all of the amenities a family would need. Great kitchen, living rooms (more than one!), bathrooms, washer/dryer, screened-in porch with seating, great WiFi, 3 large TVs with included streaming service and all the extras and incidentals one might need. And included with that are all the amenities of the Holly Lake Ranch location! Will definitely use again on future trips to Holly Lake Ranch!! Here’s to Hank!!

Perfect Hideaway!
We lacked for nothing.The beds were very comfortable and having separate bathrooms was great. All the comforts of home and then some. The enclosed back porch was our favorite hangout at night. It was exactly all we needed and I would rent Hank’s Hideaway again.

Perfect in every way!
Hanks hideawy is perfect place to bring fur babies. Fenced in back yard. EVERYTHING you could ever want they thought of. Had a great visit with my brother and his wife. Two bedrooms with bathroom in each. Great back porch. Cozy little reading nook. Fully stocked kitchen. The boys played golf and the girls hit the pool. Couldn't ask for better accommodations .

We were in town for a camp my boys attending for 4 days. The hosts were very responsive and quick to communicate when we needed anything at all! The house was adorable, clean and cozy. Amazing Getaway
We absolutely loved our stay at Hank's Hideaway! Not only because Dina and Jim were amazingly superb hosts before, during , and even after our stay, but also because the house/property was absolutely gorgeous and there was so much to do. The welcome we received absolutely warmed our hearts and helped kick off our family vacation on a sweet note. There was something for everyone to do at Holly Lake Ranch. From fishing at the lakes, to enjoying seeing the deer up close, to enjoying time playing one of the many boardgames they have in the house. Dina and Jim were 11/10 as hosts and provided so much assistance as we needed it. We made great memories and hope to visit again.

We really enjoyed our stay! Very clean and quiet little cottage! Beautiful gated back yard for my dogs to walk around in. A nice fire pit on the porch! Property owners thought of literally everything on how to make sure we felt at home! We hope to be back soon!

Outstanding in every way!
Our whole family was so impressed by Hank's Hideaway. It was so clean. We can't relax if we don't feel like a place has been thoroughly cleaned. We felt completely at ease. From universal charging ports conveniently located to smart TVs the owners know how to appeal to a modern family. However, there are plenty of activities outside we enjoyed too. The back porch is wonderful to sit by the fire and look out at the beautiful woods. The activities at Holly Lake Ranch described in the listing are great, close, and easily accessible. The home was the star of our vacation, though. Everything was set up so thoughtfully, it made feel as though we were staying at a dear friend's vacation home. There were so many sweet touches! There were fresh, home-baked muffins awaiting our arrival. Adult and children's coloring books and activity books with colored pencils were set up in a basket. Fun snacks like popcorn and cocoa were ready to enjoy with board games. A comfy throw pillow or cozy blanket was always within reach. Our stay was both peaceful and fun. What a perfect balance! Thanks so much to Dina and Jim! We would love to come back!

This was an outstanding property! The hosts thought of every possible need including treats for the dog. It made us feel really welcome and like we were guests of friends. The kitchen was very well stocked not only with dishes but also spices etc. , something most VRBO’s don’t do. Of course, it was very clean and well furnished. I can’t believe we picked such a perfect property just looking on line.

Tons of extras!
Dina was a fabulous host! There were so many extras, treats, dog toys, drinks and so much more! The back porch was one of my favorite places. The bed was super comfy, just wish it were a king. There was so much space and the backyard is so cute. There are tons of amenities. I wish there had been a map making it easy to access the amenities quickly. The QR code didn't always work but most people were friendly and helpful. The pool attendants were friendly and helpful. We did experience a few homeowners that weren't super excited to share amenities with guests, but Dina and security worked to make it right ASAP. I have never experienced such helpful and generous hosts. I would book more places if they were the hosts! Customer service 10 stars!

This cabin is adorable!!! Spotlessly clean - so much so that I assumed it wasn't used much and then saw in the register it was back to back full prior to our arrival! The most thoughtful owners who are quick to respond and provide SO many extras: our names on a placard to welcome us, baskets of goodies, multi-pronged chargers in two rooms, bug spray by the grill, beach towels - above and beyond!!! Will definitely return!

Perfect for our family
This was such a peaceful home and we loved the screened in porch with the gas fire pit. They've done a great job taking care of small details like having blankets out on the porch, super soft pillows and bedding, and have covered many things you'd need to cook. Holly Lake Ranch was also perfect for our kiddos to have fun and make great memories - we'd definitely come back!
