"This property was very clean. Handicap parking was very close! A miscommunication about shower was addressed by manager to my satisfaction. To help others, there is only one handicap room with a roll in shower and king bed. Others have a bathtub. Most regular rooms have a step in shower but not all so you must request in comments. We had one housekeeping request about something in our room. The manager resolved it in 45 minutes. Impressive! This is the 4th hotel I have stayed at in Aberdeen because we have family in the area and in my opinion it was the best! I will be back."

"This is a Historical gem that is maintained well as well as the grounds are very well kept, however if you are wanting polished high end, this is not for you. It is filled with beautiful antiques and charm. The location was perfect for walking to everything. The room was sizable with nice but simple bathroom attached (Layfette room). We enjoyed the hot, cook to order breakfast and the manager's reception. Good communication with calls and text reminders. We would definitely stay at the Vandiver Inn again."
