"The property was in a great location. The kitchen lines and blankets were well stocked. Fireplace was awesome. Appliances and decor are dated but functional. We recd 2 keys one of the keys did not fit anything the other key only fit the front door. We did not have a key to access the laundry. All in all… it was a decent place to stay."

"Brilliant property with lots of space for a big group. The pool was great for the kids. Local area has lots to offer including rafting, via ferrata, mountain biking and hiking. We loved the outdoor seating area for group meals, and there is plenty of space inside to eat together. The rooms are an eclectic mix, and it took a while to sort the bathroom logistics between us. "This is a beautiful chalet that has everything you could ever need and more. It was a perfect size for my wife and i which made our stay very comfortable. The communication with the owners was great and they left plenty of booklets explaining the surrounding areas and the beautiful walks which made our vacation. Highly recommended.."

"Twee weken een fijn verblijf gehad! Het huis bevindt zich net buiten Embrun. Voorzieningen en het dorp zelf op 5/10 autominuten. Andere bezienswaardigheden en strand op acceptabele afstand rijden. "

"Le Chalet est grand avec plusieurs salles de bains, salles d'eau et WC. La literie est bonne. Le volume de la pièce de vie est agréable ainsi que la terrasse. Seul bémol, quelques travaux de maintenance à réaliser sur la robinetterie, les portes intérieures et portes fenêtres extérieures. Elles sont parfois difficiles à verrouiller. Par ailleurs les serrures des WC et des salles d'eau et de bains se verrouillent avec une clé intérieure, ce qui ne permet pas en cas d'urgence d'ouvrir les portes...

"This is a perfect chalet. Homely and comfortable, our group of 6 adults and four children had a marvellous stay in Vars. Fantastic location - a few minutes walk from the ESF school and lifts, and minutes away from a separate area where the children could toboggan and play with snowmobiles. Vars is fantastic - a relaxed, sunny, low-key resort with lots of charm and not the herds of Northern European skiers you usually encounter further north in Chamonix or equivalent. "A stunning apartment which is very well equipped. Patrick is a fantastic host who is very helpful, responding to any queries instantly. The apartment is so cosy with amazing views of the mountains- waking up to the sunrise is magical. Only a easy 10 minute walk down to the shops and ski lifts. A less easy walk back up the hill but we didn’t mind as it made as feel better about all the cheese, crepes and hot chocolate we’d consumed! Thank you Patrick, we’ll hope to return one day. "
