"Was the lovely ground floor area of a larger chalet, with the owners living upstairs. The chalet is located near the top of a small village on a winding country lane, so be aware, if you are coming in the winter you may find this challenging to get up! "Very clean 2 story gîte in the French alps. Perfect placement to visit all in this area. Home on 2 floors and is very clean and neat. Host very welcoming. Only 2 little niggles were the absence of a typical oven despite description. There was a microwave with a timed grill but no thermostat or usual oven which made self cooking more of a challenge. Good hob. Also wifi good but only available in hallway really- a cheap 15 euro wifi extender would have sorted this. The town is on a flat plain with...

"We enjoyed our stay at the lakefront cabin. The house is well equipped with modern amenities. We appreciated the charming decor, dock for swimming and bistro table with incredible Views. We enjoyed walking to the boulangerie for croissants every morning. The traffic noise was off putting but otherwise an excellent place to stay."

"It is announced as a cottage with a pool , but When I arrived I found out it is a tiny apartment sharing small pool with another 5 apartments. I didnot stay and left the place after I make it clear to the owner and VRBO that was not the deal. Until this moment, VRBO and the owner refuses to refund despite it is clear misinformation from both side."
