" We had a wonderful stay at Bjork Guesthouse from April 11 to 12. The communication with one of the owners, Alexander, was fantastic. He was responsive and answered all of my questions promptly, providing valuable guidance on where to go and look for the northern lights. The room we stayed in was very spacious, well-equipped, and incredibly comfortable. Additionally, the location was convenient for our next stop, making our travel plans seamless. Overall, I highly recommend Bjork Guesthouse...

"The staff member did not inform us that it was underneath the building. We spent ages and dragged bags looking for number 9 He told us to just walk up the path "

"The owner was so nice and helpful. And the house was very charming and quiet in the countryside. "

"We stayed one night and were very happy with the accomodations. The front desk stayed 15 mins late to check us in and the view in the morning was gorgeous. It was muddy while we were there and so had to drag suitcases along wooden raised planks but it wasnt a big deal. Room was cozy & cute but very warm. We ended up opening windows to make it a good temperature for sleeping but it was no big deal. Fun to look in the barns in the morning and see the cows!"

"This guesthouse is very good for the area and type of accommodation. Very friendly and quiet. No hassle Or waste of time to check in or out. Dinner was amazing and above average in Iceland (balance quality-price was quite good). Breakfast very good (by far very close or even better that most 4*hotels that I have ever been). Very cozy and warm room in a particular cold area."

"Very nice, honest and quiet place to spend few days out of your world. Clean, comfortable and spacious rooms, a jacuzzi. Nice people. Agricultural and natural surroundings. Don't be afraid of the final part of the road to farm, it's not that bad."

"INCREDIBLE! thats all thats needed to explain this cabin! Secluded in the middle of no where, located minutes from strokkur and gullfoss. If you plan on driving yourself this is the place to stay. Its centrally located for all of the main attractions. This is the place for those wanting to explore and be off the beaten track it truly is incredible "

Lovely place in a lovely location

"Very clean and spacious room, even though I booked a single room. Bathroom was lovely, lovely shower, and local Icelandic shower gel which smells incredible! Great coffee/tea machine that you can help yourself to 24/7, great for those times when you need to be awake at 2am for an Aurora run. Lovely views of Laugarvatn lake and beautiful mountains on the other side. Great location in the golden circle close to Friðheimar tomato farm, Þingvellir national park, Geysir and Brúarfoss to name a few. Few minutes walk to the lovely Laugarvatn Fontana geothermal baths. Would stay again. "

"This is a very nice hotel. The rooms are very nicely appointed and relatively large. The room we had has a view of the Geysers (well, the steam clouds) across the road. Being directly across from the Geysers is nice because you can tour the geysers for a few hours before the tour busses arrive. The food service was excellent. The breakfast buffet is included in the price of the room and was great. We also had dinner at the hotel. The dinner menu is limited but what we had was very good, but a bit pricy. There is no other dining options unless you want to take a significant drive."
