"We loved the overall “chill” vibe which is exactly what we were looking for. Loved the layout of the property. For the size of the resort, we never felt like there were a lot of people there. The drive through dive shop personnel were very knowledgeable and helpful. We loved the size of our sea view room. The only negative was the lack of hot water for our shower in our room. Other than that we would highly recommend Delfins and we we WILL be returning. "

"Buddy Dive Resort is top notch and works hard to make sure you have everything you want or need. I am impressed with how helpful everyone has been! The shuttle from Buddy Dive Resort was outside and waiting for me even though the airplane arrived about an hour early. The receptionist helped carry some of my bags to my room, and a tech dive specialist made sure I had everything I need to dive my rebreather. He also was my dive orientation instructor. The room and property are beautiful and well maintained."

"Easy access to/from airport. Lovely dock with sunset views and great snorkeling and plunge pool. We used the dining decos list to book 4 awesome dinners and there’s a restaurant and bar next door. Room was clean and well equipped with a small balcony. Staff were very hospitable and there when you needed something. "

"This was our third stay at Captain Don's, we loved it as much as the first time, in 1998. We were upgraded to the deluxe oceanfront suite, great view, large room. 2 pools at the resort. Staff helped us with car rental options after the place we reserved with had no cars. We enjoy being in the quieter area away from town. Having a car is needed if you want to explore the island (which you definitely should) but, if you don't have a car, there's a supermarket and some restaurants walkable to the resort. Onsite dining and bar at the resort as well. Bar bites and pizza on site in addition to the full restaurant. The reef to the right was good for snorkeling, plus 2 resident tarpon had out under the restaurant. "

"I did not spend much time on the property besides sleep but if you're someone who is looking to explore the island this is the perfect option. The room was clean and it's in a good central location. They provide a towel that you can use to take to the beach. The restaurant on the property was delicious for a convenient breakfast on dinner (price not included). They have a parking lot for guests if you rent a car as well! I would definitely come back."
