The location is excellent, you can walk to the Lanterns Mall, where there is a small supermarket, bank and boutique shops. Some of the islands top restaurants are on your doorstep, With numerous great cheaper options on the beach between Blakeys Bar and beyond Tapas.
Twice a week there is a farmers' market just opposite the apartment, where you can buy fruit, vegetables, jewellery and souvenirs. The location also has a large play area for children and a smoothie bar where you can sit and look out over the sea.
The apartment is 1 min from the boardwalk where people love to promenade in the evening. The boardwalk takes you to the popular Accra beach with quaint little huts where you can grab local Banks beer or enjoy a rum punch. Or just lie on a sunbed and enjoy the turquoise ocean. There is also a restaurant/bar on the beach so you don't have to go far for snacks. Opposite is a great ice cream parlour where you create your own combinations.
You don't need a car as buses pass every couple of minutes and a short ride will take you to Bridgetown for duty free shopping. Or a four minute ride can take you to the local Cruising Club where for a small fee you can use all facilities for the day including kayaks and standup paddle board, instruction available on site too Also great mellow music on a Sunday evening out on the balcony, with a perfect photo opportunity of the setting sun, whilst you sip your rum sour.
