"This was basic accommodations with friendly service. The property is dated rough around the edges, but was very competitively priced. It was a pleasant walk to downtown. We would probably stay again but can’t give it high marks aside from value and location. "

"Great location in the village. 1 small block away from fantastic pub with attached restaurant and outdoor seating with parking for both. One block from river. Another block added from the pub gets you to the convenience/grocery store. Another block along the river gets you to the manor house and gardens. Lovely room at the lodge, nice breakfast delivered in the mornings. Great staff, internet in the room. Parking lot within grounds. Local taxis available. Bolt available to the property...

"Just got back from a two night stay at this very comfy cottage. Everything was there that was needed. Bed was really comfy and we really felt at home. Alex was so friendly and helpful. We had a delicious breakfast brought to us each morning which was just perfect. We would definately return and recommend to friends. Thanks for a great stay!"

"It was good experience overall, nice, clean good size room, comfortable bed and pillows. Person who checks the room helped me to find way to main door and my room, helped me with code to doors. Only on first night I had issue with noise from banging doors, even I had earplugs. Also no soap in bath. Just waiting for my 50 pounds to be returned for security deposit. "

"Convenient location south of the city with regular busses to railway station and city centre. Walking distance from Addenbrooks Hospital. Free parking at the Lodge, spacious room with private facilities. Use of Dining room with fridge, microwave and crockery. Friendly staff who are happy to assist with any queries."

"Issue with keys which was disappointing Keys for apartment 0 were in key box 11 and vice a versa. Good location "

"Doesn’t look great from the outside but fine inside as long as you’re not in one of the “upper floor” rooms of this dormer bungalow type house. Low sloped ceilings. Not ideal for a tall person. Facilities very good, plenty of equipment in the kitchen and a nice sun room were you can eat your meals."
