"My husband and I loved staying at the upstairs hideaway. The first positive we noticed after arriving was that it was nice and clean. You can tell that the host took the extra time to make sure that even the small things were taken care of. Aside from the hideaway being so clean, it was a comfortable place to stay. It felt very safe and I was able to fully relax and sleep well while staying there. Checking in and out was a breeze and the host was very kind and down to earth. Aside from the physical place that we stayed in, we were takenhe state of Arkansas is absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend that everyone plan a trip to Arkansas and stay at the Upstairs hideaway when you go! You will not be disappointed!"

"My elderly parents, sister and I celebrated my parents 72nd anniversary at this gorgeous property. Our mornings and afternoons spent having coffee on the deck while overlooking the river was so relaxing. As an added bonus we picked a perfect time of the year to stay as the Fall foliage was beautiful. Thank you Lori for being so attentive. "This is an adorable, small business motel. The room was perfect for our needs and the garden area to clean rockhound finds was ideal! I would suggest bringing a small coffee maker if you’re not keen on instant coffee or you aren’t a tea person. My friend had to get his coffee fix at the restaurants in town because he’s a snob about instant coffee (haha). I loved the little touches of consideration for room amenities (popcorn, tea setup, cold water in the fridge, etc.). Would make this my go-to for Mt. Ida if they allowed my pup to stay also, but I know there are many pet owners who might not clean up after their doggos very well. Thank you for the lovely accommodations!"

"My party of three stayed at this cabin for our girls trip to Hot Springs in Mid October. Being from the Dallas area, we wanted to be far from the city lights, sounds and traffic. This cabin was PERFECT for doing just that The cabin had 2 bedrooms, 1 bath and an open concept living room/kitchen/dining area. We had plenty of room to relax, cook, eat and sleep. Kitchen had everything we needed for our minimal cooking and coffee in the morning. Beds were very soft and comfortable with plenty of blankets. Living room had a couch and 2 recliners.Roku TV had all the apps needed for watching TV. Dining room table had seating for 5. Our favorite activity was sitting outside in the evening to view the stars and hear the night time animals. Early morning was for coffee, listening to the birds and watching the sunrise. There is a picnic table to use, fire pit and outdoor chairs. I would recommend this cabin to anyone wanting to stay in this area and have a tiny home feel to their stay. It has everything and is a very short drive to the Crystal mines, recreational areas and downtown Mt. Ida. Hot Springs was about 45 minutes away and was a very easy drive. Will definitely stay here again! We LOVED IT!"
