Cozy Cabin with Slip Dock on Lake Hartwell

This cozy cabin that I have owned for over 20 years is a wonderful example of late-20th-century modern vacation home design. Tastefully decorated and carefully updated, you’ll be pleasantly surprised at every turn.

- 3 Bedrooms, 2 baths on main level, full bath in basement. Bedrooms feature a queen bed in the master, a queen bed in the second, and twin beds in the third. A surprisingly-comfortable queen-size air mattress is available for use in the basement allowing for up to eight guests. Approximately 1,100 sq. ft. on each level
- Stainless steel appliances including French-door refrigerator with in-door water/ice (cubed and crushed)

Relaxing getaway
This is our second time staying and it was just as great as the first time. We love staying at this house. My husband enjoyed fishing all day while I stayed and read by the fire. It was so relaxing. The hosts are so nice and the best on VRBO.

Great stay
We were very pleased with our stay. It was peaceful and quite. We enjoyed being able to sit on the dock and fish, or just to enjoy the beauty of the lake. It was a pleasure to meet Doug and to talk for a while. We hope to return some time in the future.

Weekend Away from Atlanta
Doug, the property owner was professional, friendly and responsive. The property is located on a great section of Lake Hartwell as it's quiet and private. We loved hanging out at the boat dock and using the kayak's and floaties. The beds were comfortable, and the place was clean and exactly as pictured.

Spring Break Trip
We had a great week in this cabin. We all enjoyed the pool table - we are a very competitive family. We shared lots of laughs around that table every night! Cabin is located in a very quiet neighborhood. We loved walking through the garden area. Owners are very responsive and kind. We will definitely be staying here again.

Best home for a family get away!
This is the second time my family has stayed here. It has the most beautiful views. The host are always so welcoming & make sure we have everything we need. The house is extremely clean and so big! We have generations of family for the trip, but with both stories everyone has space to do their own thing. I can’t wait to book with Doug again, thank you!!

This is one of the most beautiful places I've ever gotten to stay in. It was relaxing, with such a serene environment and decorating. If you are looking for a weekend away somewhere, this is definitely the place to go!

The perfect stay!
The cozy cabin was exactly as described - so cozy! The kids loved the pool table, board games and cornhole! It had everything we needed for a perfect family getaway! Doug’s communication was more than perfect. We hope to stay again because we have no complaints at all :)

An amazing place!
We had a much needed weekend get away. The cottage was perfect and host were amazing. Every thing you need to enjoy your trip even if it is raining all weekend. They have a beautiful garden on site to venture around in. We will definitely be back.

Perfection on the Lake!
Our stay was fabulous! The hosts were very gracious and have thought of every little detail at the house. The house is comfortable and clean. The gardens are beautiful. The dock it such a nice set up if you bring your boat! We will definitely be back!

Lovely cabin and property!
This property was perfect for our family of six with 4 teens. Downstairs den area with pool table gave them some space to hang out and watch movies. Beautiful deck and gardens outside to relax and read, very private. We saw deer everyday while out running and even from the water when kayaking and using our SUPs. Easy walk to the dock and the property was laid out so nice if you want to grill or use fire pit. Doug is so helpful and kind. We also got to visit the Hart County Botanical Garden which was amazing, what a treasure!

The Perfect Place To Relax!!
My family of four just spent the last 4 days at the cabin. It was heaven. The cabin was perfect! The lake/dock area was perfect! We had fun going out on the owners canoe. The pool table was a hit. I loved walking around the cabin taking in the beauty of the gardens. Very peaceful and relaxing. We will go back for sure!!

Greenville Get Away
We were celebrating two graduations for our two of our daughters. One graduated from Clemson and one graduated from High School- she also was celebrating her 18th birthday! It was a great mini vacation. The property is beautiful, very clean and has everything anyone could need. The owner was super friendly and checked in to see if we needed anything. Seriously planning on returning!

Perfect Lake Cabin for Family
This cabin was perfectly setup with the 2 Queen bed rooms, a room with twin beds, and full basement of space for play and sleeping extras. The master had room for a pack-n-play for my little. The queen air mattress in the basement was of great use. Plenty of space to be relaxed and not on top of each other. The extras like baby gate, and stocked kitchen for daily needs made for an effortless stay. The dock was nice as well with just a short walk down. The owners were easy to reach and kind. We will definitely stay again.

Beautiful home and property on great part of the lake. House is well-equipped, attractive, and wonderfully maintained inside and out. The covered dock slip was great for shade and for our boat. The Tugaloo channel is great for skiing and towing as it is plenty big and generally calm and uncrowded. Doug was a great host as well. Great communication, great experience overall!

Relaxing and Magical Place to Stay
This was a very relaxing place to stay and it was hard to leave at the end of our trip. My husband enjoyed being able to park his boat at the dock and go bass fishing. I loved staying and reading by the fire. Having a fireplace made the experience that much more enjoyable. The place is very very clean and charming. Even though this is a lake house, it reminds of being in a tree house with all the trees around. You can even see "fairies" in the trees at night! A great place to come to relax. The host is very accommodating and checked on us to see if we needed anything. It was hard to leave and I hope we can stay here again in the future. We loved it very much.
