The host Doug was extremely helpful with my boat and trailer and was willing to assist putting the boat in and taking it out. "If you're looking to get away and have a relaxing stay at the lake, this is your place. Ours was a winter stay so we took water activities off the table, but the setting is ideal and the house is so well appointed that even our teenagers enjoyed themselves. The kitchen was very well-equipped which is a major plus in remote locations. We found everything we needed to prepare meals. We also enjoyed making s'mores over the fire pit. "Unexpected changes in our travel plans for our family and guests led us to finding this beautiful home. We spent our 9 days enjoying the expansive porch and hammock. We spent our days between the porch and boat dock that included a sun deck. The lake was calm with little motorized traffic making a great opportunity to use the on-site kayaks. This is truly a relaxing property."
