The host was very responsive and provided clear and accurate instructions, making our stay smooth and hassle-free. "Trust your GPS! The winding road to the cottage will get you there! Our adult family of 7 enjoyed our stay at Gabriel’s cottage. The hammocks were perfect for all sizes and we used the hot tub, volleyball net and fire pit often. As advertised there is no oven but the “baking bbq” did its job just fine. The hill to the lake is steep but once you make it down the lake is beautiful. Beds were clean and comfortable. My suggestion to the host is to make a few minor modifications for the perfect...

"This cottage is a perfect location to enjoy nature and go slow. The lakefront area is perfect for a bonfire night and enjoy the sound of water and falling leaves. The cottage is very clean and updated - you have everything for your kitchen, ample space for two small families. The owner is very prompt in his responses and helped us in sending back the items we left in the cottage. The listing was accurate and we will definitely recommend our friends if they want to book a cottage."

"We absolutely loved our time at this cottage. The property was spacious and clean. View was absolutely breathtaking. We travelled with four adults and four children ranging from six to fourteen and a dog. We found the cottage clean and fully equipped. We loved the guests drinks in the fridge ready to welcome us. Bed linen and towels were well organized and clean. There were lots of games and movies for everyone to enjoy as well as an abundance of water equipment we all enjoyed all weekend....

"Our family (2 daughters, 3 grandsons 8-23) had a super week on Varty Lake. The Cottage is very comfortable and the two rooms were good for young & older. Kitchen well equipped. Lots of supplies, towels etc. Having the canoe, kayak, paddleboat, two paddle boards was amazing and all were used and enjoyed. Biking along the roads & Cataraqui trail was great. Swimming was good. Games room was enjoyed by the younger boys/young men. Mo was excellent in communicating with us, before and during our stay....

"We stayed at Lowry Lakehouse for 12 nights with family and close friends and their kids (aged 3-8). Overall, we had a lovely experience and really liked the house. It was well prepared when we arrived. The rooms are nice and everything was clean. The lake is gorgeous and quiet. The house has fun equipment for the lake and playing around. Lastly, Micela was responsive when we needed to get in touch. "
