"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This cottage perfect for two people. The location has all the amenities you could ask for. Climbing up and down the 43 steps to cottage can be tiring especially for the elderly. There is Liquer store very close buy and grocery store within 5 miles. I must say that prices there very high, but in no way does that reflect on owner. We certainly are looking forward to coming back for another stay."

"Clean and quiet lakefront cottage, OK for a short stay and well worth the money. We stayed in December so we couldn’t take advantage of its proximity to the lake. Kitchen was well equipped and the dishwasher was appreciated. Future guests should consider bringing a bar of soap and shampoo, as only liquid soap is provided at the bathroom sink. "

"Beautiful cottage, spectacular property, wonderful hosts. Not sure what else to say? We came up to CT with our pup to look at areas we may want to move to. The cottage was perfect for us, nice and private and lots of land for our pup to walk. Great state park a few miles away and plenty of good restaurants nearby. Very happy!"

"The house on the lake is clean and very cute. A few things to keep in mind… The stairs to the loft are VERY steep and VERY narrow. So both adults and small children may struggle to get up and down, especially with any type of luggage. There are no closets or dressers for your clothes so maybe bring hangers and a hook for behind the door. Everything else was perfect. "

"We had a couple of out of town events in the are this past weekend, and it was also my birthday, so we decided to stay somplace special. The Granite Lodge Carriage hose was all of that! Beautifully decorated and furnished with lots of special touches from the host! We would definitely recommend, and will!"

"This property is completely misrepresented! I sent pictures in an email to someone named Luis two days ago. 1. Home is on a gravel road and you need to walk down a steep hill to get to the house. 2. House is covered in cob webs inside and out and windows are dirty and covered in green mold. 3. Two queen beds listed turned out to be full size mattresses (we measured!) so that my husband and I had to sleep in separate rooms. 4. Third bedroom had a sleeper sofa that we had to use to keep an...
