"The description and the pictures are very misleading. We drove up walked in and left immediately! THERE IS NO A/C . When you stay in a home especially when it is 95 degrees outside it becomes a sauna. The entire place is so small. I could touch both walls standing in the middle of the room. The pictures of the lake are very misleading. its' a freaking swamp. Also there "boat" they offer was filled with water half sunk into the lank and covered in pond scum. Also not to mention you are one block...

"Loved the cabin. We had a bit of trouble finding the key, but the manager's quick response and help was much appreciated. It was peaceful and beautiful. Deer walked right past the cabin nightly."

"We appreciated the quiet of no-wake lakes and the use of the 14’ boat. The bass fishermen had moderate luck - all largemouth. The 2-cabin arrangement wasn’t ideal - we would have preferred a single place with 2 bathrooms rather than being separated ok. The smaller cabin wasn’t as clean and wasn’t stocked with bath towels.."

The cabin provided us a perfect location where we had lots of privacy and a beautiful setting to hang out and enjoy being a family. We fished, took long walks in the national forest, and had campfires. It was perfect. We definitely would love to come back in the future. had c"

"The overall experience was good. The view from the deck is outstanding. The only issue we had was when using the oven it smoked up the cottage. The amenities were great. On our first night it was cold and the furnace warmed it right up. We would return to the Loon Lodge."

"Stayed here right after Christmas through NYE day for a change of scenery. House had a great layout for hanging out with the family. Kitchen was well appointed and everything was very clean. The owner even left us a gift bag including a 6-pack of Spotted Cow, which was a nice touch. It was a short 5 mintue drive into town to get groceries, takeout pizza (go to Spang's), bait etc... It had been pretty warm leading up to the trip so wasn't able to get out ice fishing until the last day. ...
