Everyone was friendly including the visitors. Like all hotels in cities it was too busy around the hotel. Glad to be back in our little isolated community where it is dark at night and quiet during the day. Wish everyone could live like that.

The property was fine. My only concern is the lack of plug outlets in the room. We had three phones to charge and a CPAP machine and had to pull out furniture looking for an open plug.

There was no problem with the hotel itself, but you have to go into downtown Harrisonburg for any decent restaurant or bar. If I had to do it again, I would stay closer to downtown....but to be clear, it's only 3 miles from the downtown, so it wasn't a major problem.....but if you're looking for places within easy walking distance, this aint it.

Conditions were a little shabby. Toilet ran during the night, the sink drain was very slow, the shampoo bottle was empty and sitting on the bathroom counter when we got there. We had to take it down to the front desk to get it filled because there was no staff available to assist with that, and we didn't have the key to mount it back on the wall in the shower where it belonged. Beds and breakfast were sufficient.
