This home was excellent. Great location and a very quiet neighborhood. My wife and I spent 9 nights here for the fourth of July and enjoyed everything the house had to offer. The owner was very easy to work with and responsive to all needs we had. This is a great home if you're looking for a little down time in a beautiful lake community.
We really enjoyed our time here. The house is spacious and well cared-for, with a great view of the water. Chad was always responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay here again if we're in the area.
Easy access to trail, good parking, great place to stay especially if you are planning a biking trip on the trail of the CDA. Contacted Chad to see if we could park there early and he gave us early access to the place to stash our stuff and head out on the trail to Plummer on arrival date. Absolutely lovely deck with overview of the lake and the inner covered porch as well. We played cards there in the evening. Super comfortable and great host. Thanks again.
Spacious and comfortable! Great sunset views of the river from back porch and deck! The only surprise (that I missed from the online description) was that the second bedroom had a three level bunk bed with a full on the bottom level.
Harrison is a very cute and friendly town. I enjoyed the small.town feel and the convenience of how close town and the marina was. House was spacious and well cared for. Hosts were thoughtful, prompt and even brought extra supplies mid stay. Even though house is within 30 miles of Coeur D'Alene, the road runs along the lake which is beautiful, but with the curves, it does take close to an hour to drive. Great house and town overall.
Very nice home, clean and with a beautiful view & large outdoor deck. Furnishings are of quality & comfortable. Home is close proximity to town, park, beach, marina & local eateries. A few areas of note include steep rock walkway/stairs in/out the home, rock landscaping, limited lawn or uneven yard, and portable air conditioning units keep the house cool, but they are loud making it difficult to have conversations or listen to tv/music. Our stay occurred on very hot summer days. Host responded quickly to questions.

Not quite what I expected
We stayed one night out of four because of the location. I have asthma and couldn’t sleep in the room with three beds stacked up! Too claustrophobic for my lungs. Also the view was mediocre at best, not really on the lake, but across the street from a swamp. The owner was gracious and communicated extremely well. I take responsibility for this choice, just didn’t research thoroughly, so it wasn’t at all what I expected. But you couldn’t go wrong working with this owner if this is the kind of setting you want
This house is beautiful, great views, well stocked. We highly recommend and would not hesitate to stay here again. The price was a pleasant surprise too. You can't go wrong staying here.
Excellent location to explore the rail trail. Beautiful views of the lake.
The second bedroom is only good for children right now. If the lower queen bed were made into a trundle (pull out bed) it would also work for adults. We put the mattress on the floor for our stay.
The deck is good. The yard is not useful.
Price was appropriate.
The overall rating reflects the second bedroom and the yard.
The house was clean and comfortable.
Lots of amenities.
The AC kept the main bedroom cool; the living room was comfortable but the unit struggled to keep up with the heat.
Fall or spring would be my suggestion if you are sensitive to high temperature.
This met my needs as I was looking for a quiet place to rest and reflect.
The property manager was super quick to respond and communicate. The house was even nicer than we expected and very well supplied. The view was nice. Staying in August, we very much appreciated the AC. The neighborhood and neighbors were very nice. The town of Harrison was charming and we enjoyed the shops and restaurants. The people in town were very friendly. There wasn’t a foosball table or tandem bike like the listing stated, but we were more interested in spending our time at the lake anyway, so it wasn’t a problem. We had a very enjoyable and positive experience!
The house was cute and cozy, perfect for 2 of us. Would work well for a family also. Nice view of the lake without a huge price tag. We would recommend this property again/stay again if we return to the area.
As we stepped in through the door, we were greeted by how clean the floors and carpets looked, and how fresh the air smelled. Walking through the front room to the windows, the view of the lake and hillsides were peaceful. The master had the same view as well. Chad was very quick to respond to a couple of questions and requests, very much appreciated! We enjoyed a short walk to town, which happened to be hosting a classic car event, folks were friendly! My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, just relaxing! We will come back!

House was great, no lighting on steps at night. No cable/smart tv so no news/ television.
Great host! Needed coffee for the first night, Keurig there no pods. No outside communicating with news or television! Beds were comfortable, home itself was great!
Great house. Fully stocked bath/kitchen. Extra blankets/hangars/fans. Short walk to a park and the river for swimming. Boys had a great time there. The description on previous reviews of the stairs had me a bit concerned but they are completely fine. They are made of stones/rock of varying lengths. I could see persons of advanced age or tiny tots needing a hand down on some steps, but by no means dangerous. Would definitely rent again.
Nice house in quiet neighborhood close to the bike trail
We stayed here for a week of bicycling. Chad was great in responding quickly with any questions and welcoming us to his home. The house is a nice open floor plan, large kitchen, laundry room, large bathroom and two bedrooms. There is a great deck for viewing the lake and beautiful sunsets after a long bike ride. We really enjoyed our stay here.
We were there for a family reunion and my first VBRO too. Didn’t know what to expect. We loved the location and view. It didn’t help that the summer heat was out of control but the AC got the job done. Like the other reviews the outside steps to the door were a little scary. My cousin who is in his 70s had some troubled navigating the steps for they are crumbly. Chad was fast to reply to any messages I sent to him. Thank you! I would use again.
