Enjoy all that Maine has to offer in this 3900+sq ft contemporary home located on 180 ft of ocean front property. This home boasts a private rocky beach, overlooking Quahog Bay, in the private Long Cove area of Harpswell.

The home is nestled at the end of a private road, dropping you and your guests, at a tranquil retreat, far from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The homes architecture takes advantage of the ocean views from every room and angle, on each and every floor. You are met immediately by the sweeping views as you enter through the front doors of the home and are greeted by a wall of windows that capture the majestic beauty of the ocean beyond.

The home invites you to lounge for hours on the expansive deck off the main floor living area, or lures you to the fourth floor to enjoy the serenity and sounds of the ocean waves while you nap peacefully on the expansive 10ft cozy couch.

The kids will find excitement outdoors as they explore the grounds along the shore, searching for treasures while the adults nearby on the lower patio watch the lobster boats pull up their traps and the sailboats glide on by.

If you are looking for adventure you need not go far to find great hiking trails and local treasure. Right within Harpswell you can explore many natural trails known as the Harpswell Hikers Challenge and visit some historic sites like the Cribstone Bridge. If you are up for a day of adventure Maine will not disappoint with many beautiful parks and beaches. A few of my family favorites are Reid State Park, Popham Beach State Park and Pemaquid Light House, and there are so many, many, more.

Wonderful location right on the water. There is a great patio under the deck with Adirondack furniture that does not show in the pictures. It was a nice place to sit in the shade. We hope to be back!

Exquisite Beach Front Home
This house is amazing! Absolutely beautiful property. Ample space for family but many cozy spaces as well. Bedrooms on different levels provide comfort and privacy. Outdoor deck is beautiful, perfect for star gazing and sunrises. Will definitely book this house again for future trips.

The property is absolutely beautiful with stunning views! Every thing was accurate on the website. A perfect spot for 3 couples as each bedroom is on a separate floor. The kitchen was well appointed and the beds very comfortable. Sitting on the main deck with coffee enjoying the ocean each morning was the highlight of the experience. A quintessential Maine experience! We will definitely seek out this property in the future for a return visit!

Great second visit
We visited this home for a second time and it did not disappoint. The location is great and the house is so inviting. Even though we had rainy weather one day, it was so nice to sit in the living room and just gaze out at the water. We will hopefully be back again!

Graduation sanctuary
My daughter graduated from Bowdoin college and this was the perfect way for our family to spend time together before and after the graduation. We all loved the house and the setting. Absolutely stunning!!! Love this house and love Harpswell!!!

Friends Get Away
Very clean. Beautiful views. Plenty of room for our party of 4. We just had to keep remembering to make sure the refrigerator door stayed closed..but the beeper reminded us. Every amenity we needed was there. We had a wonderful time. And we were close enough to lots of shopping and lobster!

Seaside escape
Comfortable, modern, spacious, and well-equipped vacation home with spectacular ocean views; even better than the impressive photos suggest. The property includes a large yard overlooking the sea with steps leading down to the rocky shoreline. We (a family of four with various visiting guests) enjoyed exploring this beautiful stretch of the Maine coast, which was new to us. There are some gorgeous hiking trails in Harpswell and fine kayaking off nearby Orr's Island. Property manager was very helpful. Highly recommended!

The Perfect Place
We used all four floors of this luxurious home that is bright and airy with high-end ammenities. Such tasteful decorating, calming colors, and closeness to nature let us relax and recoup from a stressful year. Quiet neighborhood with pleasant neighbors who work to keep area properties nice. Crashing waves, lobster boats, and of course catching those gorgeous sunrises made this the perfect place for us. David is great to work with and is available for any questions or concerns. We appreciate all the owner has done to make our stay so comfortable and relaxing. Most definitely a 5 out of 5.

Not quite there..
We were a party of five. There is not enough seating in the living room area. Two chairs and a sofa does not really work for five much less 6 to 8. There are only 4 chairs at the table. There are stools at the island but it is nice for us to have a conversation around the dinner table. This space could be set up better to accommodate everyone. The location is excellent and the water views amazing. The house itself did not meet our expectations.

Loved our visit!
We stayed at this property in September 2023 and loved both the location and the house itself. In terms of location, the house is in a secluded part of Harpswell providing a quintessential coast-of-Maine experience, but close to all that Freeport, Brunswick and Boothbay have to offer, being a short drive away for each. The house itself is one of the nicest we have ever rented along the coast of Maine. Very spacious, very clean and probably most nicely-appointed (especially the kitchen!!) of all the places we've ever rented. Layout of first floor (primarily kitchen and family room) offers great views of the water. All bedrooms very spacious (especially master on 2nd floor). Outside deck off of family room/kitchen has glorious views of the water and is south-facing without much in the way of overhang so in the sunny weather there is not much shade, but this is offset by the cool breezes off the water. In all, we loved our two weeks in this house and would highly recommend it to others!

Gorgeous ocean home .
We just returned home today , We are missing our ocean vistas , This house is perfect for family’s with children or anyone looking to have privacy, it’s 4 floors with three full bathrooms . The beds are firm and linens are high end , The kitchen is chefs dream with a induction stove and a separate oven and microwave, We had a unbelievable view of the ocean with incredible sun rises and pink cloud sunsets ,on a gorgeous porch , We spent most nights enjoying the crashing waves and boats going by . We all had out on floor , Kids played and even swam on the rocky shore and found all kinds of periwinkles and some sea glass , The caretaker DavE always available if you have a issue or just a question , We had none , Pure bliss for 7 nights we hope to come back next year , This is a incredible location and a gorgeous home , I have been all over Maine and Harpswell and Bailys island have stolen my heart ❤️.. Thank you Dave Johnson for your kindness and professionalism.

House is beautiful!! Right on the water!! It was interesting to watch the lobster boats! Plenty of room for three couples. We had a problem but it was quickly addressed by the property manager. Only downside is that it is a bit of a drive to get places.
