"The house was very clean and spacious. It had a modern well equipped kitchen which was important to us as we cooked our breakfsst each morning. The bathrooms were clean and the full sized bath was spacious and comfortable. The property was quite private with a huge back yard. If your looking for privacy and comfort in rural Maine I would highly recommend this property."

"One of the cleanest places we have ever stayed in. Quiet neighborhood and street. Able to walk dogs every morning without a lot of traffic. Very nice neighbors. Nice location to downtown, but wish it was on the water. VERY pet friendly and Fantastic back room for pets including very large crate and numerous large dog beds that are little dogs just loved. "The property was clean and accurately represented in the listing. The water in the pond was very clean and pleasant for swimming. Lots of space for 6 people, well stocked with towels etc. and some very nice kayaks with paddles in good shape. The pond and neighborhood are very quiet. Fireflies all over & very dark skies for stargazing. I would say that the only two things I would have liked to have known in advance are 1) the internet is quite slow, zero cell svc, we did manage to stream Netflix...

"We loved our vacation at Camp Baumann. The house was spacious and roomy yet cozy at the same time. So fun and unique and comfy spots for the whole family inside and outside on the multiple decks and docks. Loved the kayak and paddle boards, hot tub, fire pit - you name it. Steve was an excellent host. He was very responsive to my many questions and requests for recommendations. All 11 of us had a great time. "

It’s absolutely beautiful, well-maintained, and offers activities for all ages. The kids especially loved the ninja challenge course, while we all enjoyed the canoeing and kayaking—there were more than enough kayaks for everyone! Carrie was fantastic, regularly checking in to see if we needed anything and always responding...

"We did not enjoy our stay at all! We had no idea how far it was off the main road and had to call the property manager and she assured us we were on the right road. We finally found the chain link fence but could not locate the mailbox for the keys. I thought a mailbox would be beside the road. We called the property manager a second time and she did not answer. I finally found the mailbox on the fence behind a branch. We arrived after dark and quickly found out that the end of the right railing...
