"I think Thon hotels has the best breakfast. I am a vegetarian and there are so many healthy options. We also enjoyed the room; It was clean, spacious and the beds were comfortable. The front desk service was also stellar. Just note: if you have a car, you might look for parking in the street during off hours as it will be less costly. But even more worthy of note, the garage is quite small and so it is best to have a small vehicle to manage in and out. But that is a small price to pay compared to the overall experience. I should also note that the hotel is centrally located, thought it is difficult to not be since Alesund is walkable regardless of where one might stay in the "sentrum" area. "

"A beautifully located hotel on the mountainous inlet of Ulsteinvik . Great views , very comfortable and modern . Cosy with candles at night with a large contemporary fire . Rooms immaculate , hot water in the shower with floor heating . "

"Wonderful hotel and staff, the two restaurants were very good and we loved the place. The concierge helped us get round trip tix on the daily Hurtigruten/Havila fjord cruise (part of their Norwegian coastal journey has them come into Alesund in the AM and then go down the fjord and back to Alesund that evening). "

"Loved the property! Our king room on a higher floor had an amazing view of the town and water. View was just as good from our window as it was from that steep hike you can do to overlook the town. Ceiling to floor windows. We left curtains open all night it was so pretty. Staff was great. Friendly and nice Only criticism is parking. Had to parallel park on the hilly streets and move the car by like 7am or pay a lot for hotel lot. But parking in Norway at hotels is expensive and rare"
