RV Parks in Hardap Region

"I came to Namibia to photograph the country, especially Deadvlei. I traveled 1000 miles in a 4x4 truck and I travel spontaneously without a strict itinerary. I needed a hotel to stay near the entrance to Namibi Naukluft Park and Sossuvlei Lodge was perfect!! It is located a 3-minute drive from the park entrance. It was perfect. While staying at the lodge, I was able to find dark space back behind my room and get incredible photos of the stars and the Milky Way. The lodge is beautiful and luxurious. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast and dinner were top-notched and included such interesting and delicious foods. I didn't realized until I checked out that this lodge is considered one of the best in the world! I whole-heartedly recommend Sossuvlei Lodge!"

"The staff at Moon Mountain are extremely friendly and helpful. The cabin rooms are amazing as they are elevated which gives an amazing view out to the horizon. The food was great. The restaurant has a drinks deck area which is absolutely incredible. Especially at sunset. Would highly recommend."

"We had a two night stay at Bagatelle - stsying in one of the dune chalets. The view of the Kalahari is spectactular from both the balcony and the room and it is possible to see several animals. Apart from the dune chalets, it looked like the view from other rooms was far inferior. The room itself was large (not massive) and well conditioned. The main lodge building has the restaurant and pool - both are functional but nothing special - except Kudu wander in. The food was excellent - highest quality we had in Namibia. Overall staff service was good if a little unenthusiastic. The lodge offers a few activities. We did the nature drive around the ranch and cheetah feeding which was excellent. They also offer star gazing but the astronmer was not there so we were unable to do it."
