"Stunning location and impeccable spacious interior - this cabin is gorgeous inside and out. All amenities available and clearly a lot of thought and effort put into making it a comfortable stay by the host who was easy to reach if we had questions. We thoroughly enjoyed immersing by ourselves in nature for a creative getaway to write some music. Would definitely like to return to experience the location during a different season. "

"This is an absolutely beautiful two-story cottage with everything you need for a short or long-term stay. Nestled into the woods but close to the area's attractions, trails and the town of Haliburton - it's a peaceful break from the hustle and bustle of the city. The cottage itself is tastefully decorated, with comfortable beds, a full kitchen with all the necessary utensils, a washer and dryer, barbeque and beautiful views into the forest. All in all, I would highly recommend and hope to return...

"I really loved how intimate this experience was. We had only one other group here and interacted only just enough to say "hello" in passing. There are HUGE berry bushes, lots of (tiny, harmless) wildlife, beautiful wild flowers, and trails to follow. On the downside, I was a little sad to discover that this space doesn't have a dock nor anywhere to rent watercraft. The advertisement somewhat led me to believe otherwise. There are, however, excellent rates nearby in Bancroft proper."
