"Beautiful hotel and near all the amenities. The bed and the pillows were really comfortable and it had a fabulous shower with lovely soft towels. Didn’t get to use the pool because the weather wasn’t that good, but it looked lovely. The only thing I can fault it with they was a bar on the top floor, but you had to book just to get a drink."

The only thing missing was certain tv channels, eg., Fox News was not available and only all other democratic media channels was on. That’s not being fair to us since we should be able to watch any news and show and not to be politically biased. Thats the only reason n concern we have as not to stay with shangri la again. "

"Lyf is a great hotel, clean, friendly and helpful staff, and a good location. It’s easy to walk to the City Hall metro station, and many other places are an easy walk away, such as Clark Quay and Raffles city. I’d I return to Singapore I would not hesitate to stay here, it offers good value.i would recommend that you ask for a room that looks over Canning park, rooms on the other side have limited light due to surrounding buildings. "
