"Our stay at John's cottage was perfect. He provided great directions, which was helpful as we arrived after dark. The beds were comfortable and my niece was loved the goodies that were left for us. The cottage was in a great area and near to our friend's house, which is who we were visiting. We will definitely stay again!"

"The property is situated in an ideal location to enjoy Good Hart, The Tunnel of Trees, Cross Village and Petoskey. We enjoyed the trails adjacent to the property and hunting for stones at the beach. When we weren’t out enjoying the beauty of the area, we were thankful for an extremely clean, cozy home to relax in. The owners are extremely clean, organized, courteous and helpful. I highly recommend their rental. "

"Enjoyed a relaxing, quiet get away right on Lake Michigan. Beautiful sunset views, nice clean beach, and quiet setting. Enjoyed our stay very much. Clean, roomy, and comfortable. Kitchen very well stocked. Communication with owner was great. Loved our time here!"

"We really enjoyed our stay here. The layout was perfect for our group to give everyone their own space, but also have a good common space. The location was close to the ski hill, though I will say the roads during a snow storm can get dicey. Even with slow driving, we were still able to make it to the hill in 15 minutes or so. Would stay here again for sure!"

"We stayed at this house in May a couple of years ago and loved it. The location in the Tunnel of Trees and right across the street from Lake Michigan access is amazing. We love gathering and eating on the deck which provides a great view of the lake. It's quiet, clean and we absolutely love this house and location!"

"I will say first that the location is great. Having said that, the house was dirty - we found food that was not ours under beds, in couches, on floors. The house is OLD and pretty run down. If I had to guess, the king mattress is as old as the home, so just assume you’ll be using one of the many twin sized beds with sheets that don’t fit. This house definitely needs new beds, mattresses and linens to be comfortable, especially at the price of the stay. Having said that, there was plenty of space...

"Definitely one of the best places we’ve stayed at in the Petoskey/Harbor Springs area. Clean and spacious, we felt very comfortable relaxing here after skiing all day. We also loved the size of the bedrooms and bathrooms, and the kitchen had everything we needed for our long weekend stay. Close to Nubs Nob and Highlands, and the location was very pretty. Would stay here again!"

Only negatives: 3 TVs didn't work; multiple missing light bulbs; towels weren't hanging in bathrooms; many do not use signs such as fireplace and spa tub; and adjacent construction that started as early as 6:15am with loud noise.
