"Upon walking in to the foyer it is very evident that this hotel used to be grand and glamorous. The foyer area is dated but well maintained. We had to change bedrooms three times until we found a room with an air con that worked well enough. However, the renovated room was very pleasant and the mattress comfortable. All of the staff were friendly and helpful—no fault there at all! However, the prices of things is outrageous. A buffet breakfast is $32.00 and buffet dinner is $37.00. If you need...

"It is not what is advertised, leaking and falling ceilings, mouldy bathrooms, dirty, smelt weird and don't know how this can be classified as a 3 star hotel.... cancelled our booking immediately and owner/management was completely unhelpful and trick you with false information. Disappointing and felt unsafe."

"The property is in a gated community and very quiet.The backyard is beautiful! I was the only one staying that night. It's a three bedroom, three bath house with very comfortable seating areas inside and out. Staff prepared a delicious steak dinner with fresh made fries and salad. Since I was leaving early, they prepared a breakfast to go. I would definitely stay at Sunbird Guesthouse again!"

"The staff were super friendly and attentive. The room was average clean. The kitchen counter could use some paper towels . Wifi was very unreliable. The area is noisy due to surroundings but that’s unavoidable on a busy Harare street. Overall the place was good enough for its worth. I’d stay there again or recommend friends. "
