It was a real treat staying here, though we didn't have any time to enjoy the facilities because we arrived late and left after breakfast the next morning. The room was nice and quiet, and the view of the river and Finland, very pretty. Breakfast was excellent the next morning. The only thing I'd recommend was putting up some kind of curtain in the door window, because the light coming in is kind of bright. The bedroom area was dark with the room-darkening curtains, but the light from the door shone into the bedroom. I would stay here again--though it is slightly out of the way--to enjoy the sauna, pool, spa facilities, restaurant. I also bought some of the wonderful hand lotion for sale at reception...it smells fantastic!

Angrer på at jeg valgte dette hotellet. Betjeningen er ikke spesielt hjelpsomme, jeg følte at jeg som gjest var en byrde for dem. Rommene er romslige, men ikke spesielt trivelige. Rommet var rengjort, men det var tydelig at ikke alle flater hadde blitt vasket over. Det var flekker på bord og nattbord. Gulvet var heller ikke helt rent. Hotellet ligger på en campingplass ganske langt fra sentrum. Je ankom med buss fra Finland, og skulle videre med tog i Sverige dagen etterpå. Det ble ganske langt å gå med bagasjen, både til og fra. Rommene er ikke billige, men hotellet tar seg godt betalt for alt utenom romprisen. Selv valgte jeg å leie en vanlig sykkel i tre timer, det kosta meg 250 kroner for en veldig enkel sykkel uten gir. Jeg valgte ikke å benytte meg av spafasilitenene, men de tar seg godt betalt for dette også, rabatten boende gjester får er minimal. Jeg har tidligere bodd i Tornio når jeg har vært i området. Jeg får se hvor det blir neste gang, men det blir i alle fall ikke på dette hotellet.

Helt ok hotell for en natt. Hadde superiorrom som var noe slitt. Her må man betale 100,- kr for å benytte bassenget ute og over 400,- kr om man ønsker å gå inn på SPA avdelingen.Tilgang til bassenget burde inngå i prisen på rommet. Ulempe at frokosten er i et annet bygg. Velger nok et annet hotell om vi kommer tilbake en gang i fremtiden.

Perushyvä hotelli, kylpylässä parantamisen varaa
Huone oli perushyvä ja siisti, sängyt eivät tosin mukavimmasta päästä. Ilmastointia ei ollut ja huone oli varsin kuuma, onneksi edes varsituuletin oli huoneessa. Aamiainen oli riittävä, plussaa ilmaisesta sähköauton latauksesta. Miinusta kylpylästä sekä aulan bistrosta. Söimme bistrossa iltapalaa klo 19 aikoihin ja menimme kylpylään klo 20 eli noin 3 h ennen sulkemista. Bistrosta oli tällöin useampi ruoka jo loppu, mikä harmitti sillä ainoa vaihtoehto ruokailulle lähiympäristössä oli hotellin oma ravintola, johon olisi pitänyt varata ennakkoon pöytä. Kylpylän pukuhuoneet olivat karmeassa kunnossa: hotellin antamia pyyhkeitä, aamutakkeja ja tohveleita lojui märkänä pitkin lattioita kun ne eivät olleet mahtuneet keräyskoreihin. Suihkun ritilät olivat täynnä hiuksia. Itse kylpyläpuolella joka tasolla oli tyhjiä juomalaseja, lepotilasta olivat hedelmät ja vesi loppu, ja ylimmän kerroksen lämminaltaalle vievä tasanne lainehti. Toisen kerroksen höyrysauna haisi pahalle. Kaiken kaikkiaan kylpylän puoli ei vaikuttanut niin hygieniseltä kuin sen pitäisi. Tämä kaikki saattoi johtua henkilökunnan puutteesta, sillä bistron työntekijä kävi välillä viemässä pyykkiä ja astioita pois kylpylän puolelta, mutta toisaalta sunnuntai-iltana kylpylässä ei ollut juurikaan kävijöitä.

One night stay when travelling to Lapland. Dinner at the restaurant was very good, breakfast too! No air conditioning in the room. Due to warm weather, the room was a little stuffy. Still, we slept well!
