Great value for money and located centrally
Great value for money, good size rooms, clean and tidy. Right next to a large hostel, don’t be put off by that as the hostel is a great location for all info on trips, booking taxis etc and the staff are mainly from the U.K. You will get some noise if you are located at the front but you get that in virtually every hotel in Hanoi. Located in a good area for bars & restaurants. Try Durty Burger, Black Jacks for good UK style food.

This hotel is a solid 3 star establishment with everything you could need. The breakfast spread is good, with the view of West Lake from the dining room unexpectedly great. The staff are friendly & helpful. I am happy to recommend this hotel.

Lake View is quite wonderful, but is facing the west sun. We were staying on the 6th floor then. Hotel is serene and quiet. Good for couple or family stay, kids may find it boring without the amenities. Took about 10 mins to reach Hoan Kiem Lake, and nearby shopping area via motorbike.

Lovely hotel with helpful friendly staff. Our room was on a high floor at the back of the hotel which overlooked West Lake where we saw beautiful sunsets each evening. The road at the front of the hotel is busy but then this is Hanoi and the streets are busy. Its about a 10 -15 minute taxi ride to the old quarter of Hanoi. You'd also need to get a taxi to Tay Ho for a good choice of restaurants - Grab taxi around $2. Breakfast caters for Vietnamese mainly but also has cereals, eggs, croissants, pain au chololat, pain au raison, fruit etc. We found plenty to eat every morning including Vietnamese pho.

Hotel not too far from airport, convenient when you land or for onward journey but not in best area of town. Efficient check in, clean room & comfortable bed. Breakfast was ok with magnificent view of the lake.

First and last visit hotel
Interior renovation wasn't proper. (Not as seen in the photo) Breakfast was so bad, food are not good, there is no cutlery ready, view was not impressed, the ready packed sugar seems to keep it for a long time, the sugar is harden and stick on the internal paper surface. One word, BAD!

Athough the taxi driver did not present himself at the airport we eventually arrived at the hotel (better late than never) and was greeted with warm friendly smile and a room upgrade(taxi) so all good would I return yes,would I return to Hanoi in a heart beat,great place great people great food

Perfect.
Very happy and helpful staff with a good grasp of English. The hotel was perfectly clean and comfortable and within walking distance of the lake and main attractions. The view from the 8 th floor restaurant was amazing. I would recommend this Hotel to all travellers.

When we booked our trip, the hotel staff were very helpful arranging transfers from airport and arranging trips for when we arrived. The hotel itself is on a busy road and the noise from the traffic carried into the rooms so a room at the back of the hotel is needed. The location of the hotel is good to get around Hanoi and again staff will help with taxis and maps.

Almost Perfect for the Price I Paid
Everything just perfect for me with the price I paid which considered worth it. Once I arrived at the hotel, there are two friendly staff at the reception counter (a lady and a gentleman) welcoming me with my name they mentioned before I speak up which is very good that they aware that I am checking in on that late hour (around 22:00). The gentleman also very friendly that volunteer to explain the good places to visit in the city. The bellboy also friendly and helpful to bring me to the room with the luggage. The bed is comfy, the air-con got heater, there are refreshments provided like instant coffee and tea bags, bathrobe also provided, and lastly which I love is the view from the restaurant during breakfast is very nice. Only the slack off are on the vehicles noises (hotel very near to busy road) and my room sink pop-up plug stuck in the hole since I checked in (water always filled inside the sink).
