location and very helpful staff
Great location just on the edge of the historic quarter, some great restaurants nearby. All the reception staff were brilliant very helpful. Only a 20 minute walk to the lake.
However the pictures on the website are quite misleading, it’s not as glamorous as they make it look so my initial impression upon arrival was not good, but the staff and the location did compensate for it. The hotel does need some maintenance and the breakfast was basic but for the price we paid it was ok.
Very kind staff. We used this hotel as a jumping off point for Ha Long Bay and Sapa. They let you leave your bags you don’t want to bring, help schedule buses (even last minute when our weekend bus was canceled they got another one to pick us up at the same time), and since we left before breakfast started they made us egg sandwiches to go with fruit. Very nice for such an inexpensive hotel. The rooms are older, but no complaints because of the price! They provided us bottled water every day. We were woken up once early because of construction but they more than made up for that with kind service. Thank you staff.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Room was tiny with no window. Felt very rundown and not well kept. There was lots of hair in the drain in the bathroom before we arrived. Breakfast was extremely limited, and customer service was not up to scratch. The room was cheap but not up to the standards of other hotels we stayed at for similar prices.

Friendly staff. Adequte breakfast and suitable location for us. Rooms at the front were spacious however it was quite noisy from trains and road traffic.
Got a very friendly and helpful wrlcome. Big room and bathroom at front which was....a little bit noisy, but managable. Very closr to main station.

The staff was amazing, welcoming and helpful. They are some of the nicest people one could hope to meet and speak excellent English. This more than made up for the condition of the room which was acceptable, but not great.
The hotel overlook our booking and told us they are fully booked on the day of our arrival. Sent us to their 'sister' hotel (lele&frog hotel) which was terrible. The room is so small and old, and is half the size of what the room we originally booked. It's so cramp that we have to take turn to open our luggage. The toilet door got stuck and i almost got stuck in the toilet. Shift back to the original hotel the next day. Room is big, but the aircon is old.
Room and facilities were clean and comfortable. Hotel staff are very friendly and they give very good food/sightseeing recommendations. Even though this hotel is not the nearest to a lot of tourist attractions in Hanoi, many attractions are still within walking distance. Alternatively, you can take a cab for about 5 to 10 min to reach most of these tourist attractions.
