"Our arrival at the hostel was delayed but we called and were happy that they waited for us to check in. That done, we went to the room and one of the rooms had a horrible smell of sewage. We went back to the reception to complain and the guy said it was because the room was closed for a long and make the water run the smell disappear, which did not happen. "The room was simply tiny. The mattress was sat on pallets rather than an actual bed. The shower door was broken and hung loose in the shower. Duck tape was trying to hold it up. I had children with me so this was dangerous. There was no kitchen (which the advert said there was) and we had to was dishes in the bathroom sink. Finally, there was grease or dates smeared on the wall. The internet didn’t work, the fan was broken too. It was on a busy urban street, so if it wasn’t midnight revelers...
