Third time at the house. It's perfect for us, bc we want to beach all day every day and it's only a short walk. It's always clean, and the house has everything we need so we can pack light. Quiet street, you can hear the surf, and see the most amazing stars at night! Loved the fresh flowers greeting us upon arrival. Can't wait for our next visit!

Great time on the North Shore
We really enjoyed our stay! The kitchen was great, awesome knife set. The beds were comfy. Close to the beaches, great to walk to mornings till evenings. We liked the local vibe, very relaxing and quiet. Loved all the fun animal sightings out back.

We enjoyed our stay here immensely! The house was lovely and had the most incredible views of the surrounding mountains from the back deck. Road noise was barely noticeable but birds calls were everywhere (including the wild roosters). We loved snorkeling at Tunnels beach with our kids and exploring the town of Hanalei. The house was clean and very well provisioned. We certainly hope we get an opportunity to come back!

Best end of the road place
Rain or shine, this is the perfect place: 2 blocks walk to the beach, giant covered porch overlooking a jungle covered mountain, shower outside listening to bird calls, and cross three one way bridges from town. You feel like you’re staying at the end of the world and you’re happy to be there.

Running it back at Tunnels
Stayed here exactly two years ago and knew we had to come back. The house and location are perfect and, despite the short drive from Hanalei (which never gets old), feels like you're at the end of the world. The property has everything you could need on site and at the beach. Not sure if the grapefruit tree is part of this house or the neighbors', but next time I'm going to pluck one :)!

Exactly what we needed
Very clean. Perfect aloha spirit of the Kauai north shore. Accurately described. We had three couples and plenty of space. Loved the proximity to Tunnels beach since it is hard to find parking there. The tropical garden setting with the back deck that looked over the animal sanctuary was beautiful and fun. The covered outdoor shower and jacuzzi tub were perfect for lounging on a rainy north shore day. Easy drive into Hanalei for some great restaurants. Would definitely stay again :)

Favorite place in Haena
We have been to Kauai 6 times now and stayed in the Haena area 4 of the 6 times. This house is our favorite house for all of the reasons people have mentioned. I would highly recommend renting bikes so you can make the short ride to the beach and thus be able to ride if back to the house to eat lunch. Perfect location, plenty of room and the best area on the island if you like to chill.

Amazing house! Loved the outdoor shower, the horses and cows visits! It was clean and well stocked. The dryer didn’t work but was just the belt and was fixed for next guest. Totally relaxing stay!

Exactly as advertised…wonderful secluded location in beautiful remote Haena. House was super clean, fantastic location right by tunnels. Extremely friendly neighbors, and my personal fave was the outdoor shower. Can’t say enough great things about this property. Would definitely like to return again this summer!!

Well-appointed home perfect for our family
This house fit our needs perfectly. Home was very clean and beautifully decorated. We especially loved the outdoor shower and back deck. Also, there was gear and supplies available for us to use.
