Fabulous Apartment Right in Town
We had a perfect stay. Check in was a breeze, and the apartment had everything we needed. It was very quiet and the bed is super comfortable. Just a few blocks walk to the lake. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

Perfect base camp
We had a great time staying in Hammondsport while making the rounds to all the nearby attractions. The place worked perfectly for us and it was spacious and clean. We spent most of our time out and about but it felt great to come back to a cozy and private place to call home for our holiday weekend.

Wine-ding down
Perfect location to sample local wineries in the Finger Lakes region. We were driving back to Massachusetts from a Canada vacation stay and wanted to spend a couple days visiting local wineries. The property is close to downtown restaurants and more than enough wineries in the two days we spent here. Plenty of room, comfortable beds in a safe neighborhood. I would caution anyone who has trouble navigating steep stairs to consider staying elsewhere, but really that was the only "negative" about the property. Would stay again.

Weekend getaway
My wife and I stayed here for the weekend and had a great time. The rental was clean and just as described in the listing. It was in a great location, just a few blocks to downtown Hammondsport and Keuka Lake. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone wanting to explore the Finger Lakes region.

Excellent property. Don’t judge by the outside as it could use a little paint. Inside was perfect and well maintained and decorated. Bed was comfortable. Kitchen was also excellent but we didn’t use it other than the refrigerator. We would go again. Perfectly located if you are interested in being near the best wineries in the finger lakes.

Do not let the entrance deceive you! The stairs lead you up to a spacious studio in a residential neighborhood. We were in easy walking distance of cool restaurants and neighborhood bars. Shops looked fascinating. We were in easy driving distance of wineries in the area. Small town but lovely in so many ways.

Great spot. Loved that we could walk to town for dinner and drinks. The apartment was spotless. Ample kitchen space to make breakfast or late dinner. Don’t let the stairs in other posts discourage you. This location is great. Quite neighborhood. Great parking. Many wineries and lots to do within a short distance. Perfect for a getaway!

Great place for visiting the Finger Lakes
We found the rental to be well furnished and maintained, and the owners were very responsive and accomadating. The A/C was running when we arrived, which was nice when it's 90+ degrees outside. The apartment is very close to Lake Keuka, which is a beautiful place to explore, and is also fairly close to other great locations as well. We visited Lake Seneca during our stay on the east and went to Letchworth State Park to the west and had a great time overall.

Perfect Home Away from Home
From my arrival to my departure this was the most comfortable and convenient places I have stayed! Jody and Tommy were excellent hosts and their home is equipped with everything you need to make it your own. My partner and I worked from home one of the days and the wifi was great and there was lots of space for our needs. We will definitely book Jody and Tommy’s place again when we come back into town. If you’re reading this, definitely book it!!

Great place - would stay again
This was a great stay for us. The owners were terrific to work with - communicated quickly and were accommodating of some special requests. The apartment itself was charming and clean, with everything we needed in terms of the kitchen, etc. The pictures represent it accurately. Hammondsport itself was perfect for us. It has a nice downtown with restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. There was plenty to do in terms of wineries, boating, and local hiking. If you’re looking for something really fast-paced or a party town it’s probably not a great fit, but for us it was perfect and relaxing.

Don't judge a book by it's cover.
As the title suggest, you'd be making a mistake to pass this place up if you were judging solely upon a drive-by. Given it is an older home and perhaps a bit nondescript on the outside, the inside is a hidden gem. The space has an up-to-date design and feels quite cozy. Although without central air, the window A/C units were not too loud and the space was kept very comfortable. The neighborhood is very quiet and within walking distance of all the shops in historic Hammondsport as well as being within a few minutes of many of the local wineries (we recommend Bully Hill for lunch) in the beautiful hills north of town. Tommy was readily available to respond via text and was very helpful with questions regarding the property and was able to provide tips and suggestions about things to see and do in the area, Literally, the only concern was the steep, narrow & shallow staircase which could be a hazard for the elderly and very small children. One must use great care negotiating the stairs with a large bag or suitcase. Overall though, quite enjoyable, private and worth the price.

Great place. Everything you need for a trip to the Finger Lakes is in this studio apartment. Great location if you enjoy a short walk into town. Owners response to any questions were answered quickly. Would definitely stay here in the future.

Great Village location
