Fall Stay in the Finger Lakes
This is the second year we have stayed at Snug Harbor for our family fall vacation. As usual, our was wonderful. It was clean when we entered and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay.

The place is actually more of a condo, not the whole property as advertised. Overall, the location and the accommodation were great. Would definitely book it again.

Amazing weekend! Great location and very nicely situated apartments. Restaurant below the apartment was great and had very nice bar and good ambiance. Definitely would do this trip again

Location was terrific. It's above a restaurant, but since we stayed from Sunday to Wednesday, and the restaurant was closed Monday and Tuesday, it had no effect on us. The condo was clean and nicely decorated. Beds were extremely comfortable and the views terrific. Would definitely stay again.

Very nicely updated and cozy feel. The view of the water was beautiful and peaceful from the balcony or the couch. The restaurant was not open during my stay and there was no one in the suite below so it made it to be a very quiet relaxing atmosphere as well

Beautiful place right on the lake
The view was amazing, especially sitting out on the porch with a drink overlooking the lake! We were in Suite 3 and it was beautifully decorated, well stocked, and comfortable. We visited wineries and breweries along with the village of Hammondsport and the Curtiss museum. All within short distances. Next time we are considering a summer visit so that we can swim and boat on the lake too. We highly recommend this beautiful place.

Incredible views, clean comfy rooms
Loved the adjustable beds! Our 2nd year at Snug Harbor and we will be back! Enormous deck with incredible view of lake (suggestion: add pull-down shades to give some shade for morning coffee). 2 baths with great showers. Large bedrooms (suggestion: master needs more flat space, like a shelf or slim table on TV wall). 3 TVs. Small but open and bright kitchen, no real dining area. Comfy couch and chairs in family/living room. (Suggestion: door lock near kitchen has never matched the other doors, so we only used it for exits)

Unclear description of property. We thought it was a single family unit.
The property is listed as a cottage, however we were surprised when we got our detailed information days before arrival that we had a suite on the third floor. Having to park at the bottom of a very steep hill we then had to haul all of our belongings up that hill and multiple steps to the third floor!

Very nice location and space, uncomfortable furniture
Property is very clean and well kept and the view of the water from the porch is amazing. Beds and outdoor furniture are incredibly uncomfortable and there is no table indoor. There was only a very thin bedspread, no other blankets so we went out to a consignment shop and bought comforters. Overall we had a great stay with beautiful weather and views and great access to vineyards and wine tastings. We won't be returning because of the comfort issues but otherwise very good. I did try to call the own with a question about check in and didn't get a return call.

Great Location
What a gem of a property - great view, close to Hammondsport. Everything was new and clean. Kitchen was overall well appointed but could use a few more glasses (wine, highball) and regular sized coffee cups (they were either HUGE or tiny). As we are now in the fall, I’d recommend putting some blankets on the beds or at least leave some in the closet. It would have been nice to enjoy more time on the deck if we’d had a blanket or two. Check-in and check-out was easy. Some nights we had to park on the street and move the car later because the restaurant was using the entire parking lot. I’d recommend a couple of reserved spots for your overnight guests. But truly we enjoyed our time here immensely.

Great place to stay
Only problem was when we got there , there were no instructions on how to get into the rooms and were told by workmen that we needed a code, which we were never given. We did find the rooms and the door was unlocked. The key to the door was in an envelope in the kitchen. We had to call the owner for the password for wifi. He did respond. One night we found we were locked out of the main door (not the one to our rental) and luckily a workman who was staying there opened the door. The place is very nice and clean and the deck beautiful. We just wish there had been better communication with owner.

Relaxing lakeside views.
Enjoyed being so close to wineries and restaurants. Downtown Hammondsport offered a fun variety of stores. Our stay at Snug Harbor was enjoyable, will definitely consider again.

In town for a concert ...
We stayed a weekend at Snug Harbor for a concert at Point of the Bluff and had a great time. The place is beautiful, comfortable and, as advertised, right on Keuka Lake. The staff downstairs at the restaurant were friendly and helpful and the property manager was responsive to questions. I'd stay here again.

Beautiful setting, challenges with communication
This location was gorgeous and we loved how easy it was to check in! Being right on the water and so close to town (Hammondsport is wonderful… eat at Park Inn… it was delicious) is exactly what we were looking for! Unfortunately, there were issues with the water in the suite. Mainly, it was shut off a number of times during our stay. This was quite disruptive, but we understand things happen. Unfortunately, we had no way to get ahold of our host to fix the issues. 😔 We sent messages in the Vrbo app (he was not responsive for 19 hours) and called the Vrbo host number several times (no answer, mailbox was full). The virtual assistant didn’t help either. We were at a loss and at the mercy of when the water would be turned back on. I doubt this happens often so please treat this review as an opportunity to enhance communication going forward with your guests. Thanks!

Unit was clean. Kitchen well stocked. Loved sitting on the porch. Comfortable space for four adults. Very close to things we wanted to see and do. I had a couple questions for the owner and he responded right away. Would highly recommend.

Cozy with a great view
The apartment is cozy, and nicely furnished with fully updated kitchen and bathrooms. The deck overlooking the lake was a real bonus. The unit is two floors above a restaurant but we were not disturbed by noise or unwanted cooking odors. And it was nice to have the option to just go downstairs for a meal or a drink.
